Hi im Izzy, I just received my eligibility, and I don't know when I will going to take the NCLEX , I just finished my Kaplan review and I am not sure if I will take the exam this march or next month, since they will change the questions starting April 1. I want to continue reviewing while I am still undecided since I don't feel I am ready to take NCLEX because my Kaplan scores were not that really good, my Qbank is just in the 50's and my Question Trainer 7 is barely 60. What do you think?

Is it ok that after Kaplan I use Saunder's book (q&a) not the cd? ANd if it's ok, how do you answer it? is it like answer the questions and cover the rationale or answer then rationale, I am just curious since I am used to answer questions directly in the computer and now I am doing the book. Any suggestion will be really appreciated.

By the way, which is better to use after Kaplan, the Prioritization, delegation and assignment by Lacharity or Saunders book not the cd?

Set an appointment date, then start to prepare. One week to three months of hard work usually does the trick.

Go ahead and review saunders and make sure you complete the qbank...kaplan is the best..it is a must pass for sure...I used kaplan, saunders and exam cram to prepare for the NCLEX and I pass...Make a schedule and stick to it..Make your date..go ahead!

hi izzy09. i used kaplan and i also barely got a 60. i dont know im still very discourage. im doing exam cram and i find it easy.

hi kalop, really? i thought i am the only person who barely got 60, but i have read alot about kaplan users here in all nurses and some of them barely got 60 too but they passed the exam. :) i've heard about the exam cram is it a good one?

. i have two books right now and i havent started reading them, :) lacharity and saunders.

im not sure if exam cram is a good one. few of my nursing friends have used it and the found it helpful. when are you taking the test?

April, i know they will change the test, but i went to ncsbn and they said its just miniminal changes and they post some new topics. when will you take it?

i will take my exam on the 23rd. i want to postpone it since my kaplan scores are very low. i don tknow im still not sure.

Do not postpone it...read the rationales and try to understand why you got the wrong answers....my scores were not great and I pass!
