Well I am taking my Nclex-RNr the 2nd time tomorrow.
The 1st time I took the exam I didn't use a review class, I used Saunders, failed in 80 questions.
For this time I used Kaplan, I did all the Qtrainers, on Test 1-76%, Test 2-80%, Test 3, 4, 5-54-58%, Test 6-65%, Test 7-71%. I did all of the Qbank, cumulative score is a 66%, but when I did the sample nclex tests, i made an 80 on the priorty test and then a 58% & 50% on them! I read the Course book & watched all the conent review videos.
Now I am worrying that I should have did more content review then just Kaplan alone?! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I know that I need to stop freakingout, But this is the 2nd time. I need to pass to keep my job.
I have faith in God that I am suppose to be a RN, but I am letting my nerves take control.
I just need to hear any words of ecouragment and any sucess storied form people who have passed their 2nd time!
Thanks everyone. Soon to be RN!!!

Try not to panic. Your question trainer scores are great. Just try to relax. Look for trends when you score below 65%...are you tired, agitated or restless?? Also, plenty of my friends took kaplan, with test scores in the 50's and passed!!! I think it is important to try to understand the rationales. Also, it is important to understand your processing errors...did you read into the question, did you understand what the question was asking or did you misread or miss a key element in the stem. You can do it!!! Try to stay positive!!!

You are going to do great! I had to take it twice and also did Kaplan my 2nd time around and had no problem. Just no studying on the day before now...try not to think about the test! Also, a verse that helped me after my 1st time failing was: "For I know the plans I have for you....plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11. God only wants the best for his children! :)
Thanks, I took the last 2 50 ? test last night after an all day event of studying, maybe I was burnt out. Thanks for the encouragement. I hope to post I passed on Friday!
Thanks for the verse. It is what I needed to hear. You all are the best!
Another tip about the test......focus in on the first 75 questions....I told myself I would go slow and take up to 2 hrs. on those first 75. I used at least 5 noteboards.....I wrote out A B C D and eliminated them as I worked thru the question. If you do that you will at least start better...I believe when I took 265 questions my first time I didn't zone in on those to get above the standard bar to pass so it flip flopped me back and forth thru all those questions. My second time all I got was 75 and passed....recently on March 13th. Good luck...will be thinking of you!!!!!!!!! Write out your name, RN a few times today to psych yourself up!!!!

That's great I gladyou got 75 way to go. I had over a 100, lots of select all that apply well over 10, lots of priority, maybe 5 math problems, lots of med questionsHad a major distraction the girl next to me computer shut off at 71 and they had to fix it and they were talking so I got up and took a break because i lost focus, BUT i GOT BACK ON TRACK AFTER MY BREAK. . Will see friday how it went!!
