Please Help Me . . . Advice Needed . . . How to Title a Post

did the title get your attention?

there are at least five threads floating around right now entitled "plz help me" or "advice needed" or "help please". none of them has any clue in the title what they're about. i don't know about everyone else, but i'm getting tired of clicking on these desparate requests for help and finding the thread to be about immigration -- something i know nothing about -- how, where or when to get a job or whether or not someone should be a nurse in the first place.

please -- when thinking up a title for your post, make it something that at least hints at the contents.

thank you.

Thank you , thank you caliotter3 :D and you know what I got to digging around so more and found how to do it in help topics . Now I know . I love this forum if I didn't have allnurses I think I could not continue in the nursing field. I enjoy reading that other nurses have the same issues and worries and feel like I do about things. Hello everyone,

I am new to the board. It was a requirement for my class but I am looking forward to gaining insight on many things. I am in the RN to BSN program at SCF and hope to be completed by August.

I am a new grad and would welcome information about getting into the pacu and peds setting. I know I need to pay my dues but would love to be able to work toward those goals

Thanks for listening

Hi and welcome to the forum Flyinmit! The best way to introduce yourself to the group so more people will see it is to post it in the Greetings and Introductions Forum by:

1. Click the "nurses" tab at the top of the homepage to the right of "home" tab.

2. Under the General Nursing heading click on the bold lettering "Introductions and Greetings" fourth on the list.

3. At the top of the page is a New Thread button, which takes you to the dialog where you can re-post your Greeting which a title of your choosing that will appear in the new posts page.

I wandered in confusion for years on all of this but the easiest one stop place for help is the User Control Panel that appears in the drop down menu under the "my account" heading also located in the homepage masthead. :nurse:
