I know this has been discussed many times but i am really curious I am looking for a Postpartum SBAR/Cheat sheet is there anyone out there that has something like this I am trying to come up with one that is good and maybe someone can share one they use and I can adapt it it just seems there arent many cheat sheets so to speak for Postpartum I would like something i can pass off that is thorough for report giving and whatever else i may need to do. Sorry maybe there is a place we can find to upload these sheets. So that everyone can use them I know I can put the ones i have made up.
thank you all!

Our unit has one, but I find it very user-not friendly. Therefore I continue to make my own: just like I have for 32 years: with all the report information in places where "I" can find it, on a piece of printer paper folded into fourths. Just another thing they cram down our throats under the cloak of making things safer.

Easy to make your own thinking of what SBAR is.
S=Situation (a concise statement of the problem)
B=Background (pertinent and brief information related to the situation)
A=Assessment (analysis and considerations of options-what you found/think)
R=Recommendation (action requested/recommended-what you want)

I just started on an antepartum/postpartum unit and have created my own sheet. Having just graduated last May, I was used to using my own sheet (and I'm a very organized person so I like everything to be in order).
PM me your email address and I'll send you the word document I use.

Hi, I'm a second-semester student in clinicals right now, and I have a problem with pre-conference/post-conference prep work. I was wondering if you can help me with your sheet also? I think it can help me and my anxiety attacks during clinicals. Thanks so much.

Hi, I would love to have that document too. I'm in the process of making my own but it is taking forever to format! Sorry, I can't work out how to PM on this site...
Thanks

I have worked in mother/baby for about a year, and I also created my own report sheet. It is very comprehensive. Anyone who would like it, email me (click on the envelope next to luvofnursing to do this) and give me your email and I will send it to you.
