Our unit has one, but I find it very user-not friendly. Therefore I continue to make my own: just like I have for 32 years: with all the report information in places where "I" can find it, on a piece of printer paper folded into fourths. Just another thing they cram down our throats under the cloak of making things safer.
Easy to make your own thinking of what SBAR is.
S=Situation (a concise statement of the problem)
B=Background (pertinent and brief information related to the situation)
A=Assessment (analysis and considerations of options-what you found/think)
R=Recommendation (action requested/recommended-what you want)
I just started on an antepartum/postpartum unit and have created my own sheet. Having just graduated last May, I was used to using my own sheet (and I'm a very organized person so I like everything to be in order).PM me your email address and I'll send you the word document I use.
Hi- I would love to see what you use. I am a new grad and I am starting in Mother/baby on THursday. Would yoiu mind emailing it to me also?

I know this has been discussed many times but i am really curious I am looking for a Postpartum SBAR/Cheat sheet is there anyone out there that has something like this I am trying to come up with one that is good and maybe someone can share one they use and I can adapt it it just seems there arent many cheat sheets so to speak for Postpartum I would like something i can pass off that is thorough for report giving and whatever else i may need to do. Sorry maybe there is a place we can find to upload these sheets. So that everyone can use them I know I can put the ones i have made up.
thank you all!
