Haha excited for nursing school! :)

I start nursing school in 3 months and so far I have made tons of plans. I just hope that i can get 50% of my plans complete before school starts.

I start clinicals this Fall and am trying to mentally prepare myself now! I just found out that I have to take a nursing class during the summer, Fundamentals to Professional Nursing. So I definitely plan on taking a week vacation sometime relatively soon before that starts. Thats a good idea to review A&P, I have been reviewing my math class also. Get your free time in now ladies and gentlemen!! :)

I'm going over my math skills and pay as much debt as I can. I need to do some yoga, I'm very nervous about nursing school!!!:nailbiting:

I start LPN classes in Sept. Will follow that with 1 year bridge. Estimated graduation date May 2017. We have been working on paying of debt since last Oct. Should have everything but mortgage paid by start time. Florida vacation in July with friends. Sticking to the new budget and taking some "pre-nursing" courses at local community college. Don't really know what else I need to do. Any suggestions ?

Spending as much time relaxing with friends and family! Getting my grants, loans and scholarships in order to live. All my titers and immunization a are uploaded and ready to go! Start class in three weeks!! ??

I am looking for advice before I begin my nursing program in the fall. A healthy diet and exercise plan is first on my list. I hope to relax this summer and enjoy California before I go back to NC for school. It is really important for me to find a good study routine because I have the habit of cramming, and I KNOW that is not going to work in nursing school. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I hope to enter into the fall semester refreshed and prepared. it has been hard work getting into a program and my biggest fear is to FAIL.....

I make flash card early and take them where ever I go! Look at them while you're in line at a drive through, waiting for an appointment any time you can! I also record lectures and listen to them in the car

good ideas! Thanks. I especially like the idea of recording lectures. I have always meant to do that and forget. Im definitely putting it on my list. As for flash cards, I always believe in flash cards. In the past, my brain rejects information early and will only begin accepting it at the last minute. Ive got to break that... I will be trying out your methods

I was the same way but I learned I need to burn something in my brain to understand and remember it. I just use my iPhones voice recorder to record lectures! Cheaper than buying a recorder and I can plug headphones in or plug into my radio.

Is there a certain pharmacology book that would be the best to begin studying? I thought it might help to just begin learning pharmacology over the summer before school starts, but I do not know which one would be best.

I start my program in two weeks and the book we use is called calculate with confidence. Might want to check with your school and see what they use. If you're interested in the book I have the ISBN number is 9780323089319
