hello, future graduates!
are you going to participate in your
1. pinning and graduation,
2. pinning and not the graduation,
3. graduation and not the pinning?
i will particiapte in both. my classmates will be doing a mix of the above three.
care to share!
I'm only in my first semester right now, but I'll probably only go to the pinning. I did the whole college graduation thing when I got my BA. This time around I'm graduating from a community college so I figure "What's the point?" The pinning is just the nursing school and that's what's important to me.
i'm going to both the pinning and graduation ceremonies. i can not wait !! i think it will be hard to keep from crying through both. there were times i wanted to give up but to attend both is like a reward for not doing so. anyway, congrats to everyone graduating!pokey
"there were times i wanted to give up but"
i can relate! so glad we both decided to hang in there. continue success to you.
silly, not at all. all the best to you!
anyone going to have a graduation party? i don't graduate until next year, but i want a party! i know its kind of silly (i'm 35), but i going to be the first in my family to graduate from college. i don't want gifts, i just want to share the happy event with everyone who has supported me. my husband thinks i'm daft for even wanting one. :rotfl:berta :balloons:
to me, it's the graduation for the nursing student. its specific events depends on the school/students choices. in general, there is /are a/some speaker/s, music, pinning and capping the graduates, taking pictures of the class, lighting of candles with the entering and existing of the graduates, and a reception afterward.
the setting and memories are, to me, wonderful, or at least this is what i remember from my lpn pinning.
what is the pinning ceremony?
enjoy the experience!

YAAYYY!!! the end is soooo near. It has been a challenging journey but a rewarding one. OK so, how does a male fit into the pinning and capping ? I'm the only male in my class everyone is talking about what to wear and sounds like a bunch of girlie stuff. :icon_roll It's all good but I kinda feel left out ya know what I mean!!
