Hi everyone! We will soon find out if we got an interview to the Pierce Nursing Program for Winter Admission. I created this forum to keep everyone up with the status of my application too! Post when you find out if you've got an interview, or post with your info (gpa, Kaplan score, etc.)

It might be safe to assume they are finishing calling all the yes people. I just can't believe I got it and that I'll actually be able to attend it. Celebrating tomorrow with some friends and on Monday with Brandie!

I can't imagine it wouldn't be done today. I forgot to ask if we are all equal at the interview. I know they gave points to our applications, so I don't know if those carry over or if everyone starts over as equals.

I actually emailed her last night asking that question... she replied this morning saying "We interview 46 and offer admissions to 30. The Phase II Interviews have their own scoring rubric and points assigned."

I'm at TCC and my friend in class got the call during a break in lecture!! She really wanted to go to pierce but since there are cuts after the interview and it doesn't start till winter quarter she has elected to stick it out at TCC with me!! :) she told them to pick another student so maybe there is still hope for the rest of you!!

I actually called Friday and said I had decided to go to TCC. I'm hoping that means there will be a lucky alternate called! I'm so excited to start my program, and a number of things made it clear to me that Tacoma is where I am supposed to be. Best of luck in the process ladies! Brandie, see you Thursday!

Good luck, Riely! I wish you all the best. I appreciate how you made the decision to attend TCC where you "are in" and freeing up a possible spot for another person to possibly be given the opportunity to fulfill their dream in becoming a registered nurse. Not sure if Pierce will contact the next person in line that could be interviewed (score wise) or if they'll just interview 45 instead of 46. ???

Brandie is awesome... just don't hog her please. lol ;)

Just want to wish everyone well tomorrow in regards to our interviews at Pierce College for their 2015 program start. I am feeling confident, but not overly confident, and am praying my nerves stay calm, cool and collected. haha! ;) I'm in the first set of interviews, 1-3 pm. I was informed we would find out next week if we made it through and secure a spot for 2015. I'm hoping with the hiring of a new Nursing Director the program will start Spring Quarter, not Fall Quarter, however, earning a spot means everything to me.
