Pierce Wa Nursing Program

Hi everyone! We will soon find out if we got an interview to the Pierce Nursing Program for Winter Admission. I created this forum to keep everyone up with the status of my application too! Post when you find out if you've got an interview, or post with your info (gpa, Kaplan score, etc.)

It's frustrating for me because as much as I want to attend Pierce (100%), my backup plan B in case I didn't get in will not be attainable now due to missed deadlines. I wish they would share with us why there is a delay. Thanks ladies for keeping me (and the many who lurk and not comment) updated with the information you've received. Would love to know if anyone or anyone who may know someone has received a "yes" call from Pierce. Hope everyone has a nice day!

Hi ladies! I got a call and a congratulations on making it to the interview phase!!!! Hope your calls come soon. I'm over the moon right now! I actually fell asleep and missed her call!! Happy that she left a voice mail... now I can listen to it again and make sure I'm not dreaming. I'm so happy right now that I don't know what to do with myself. And today is my wedding anniversary. Ha. :)

Got the same call, literally as I left the vet from ha ing to put my dog to sleep. Best/worst day ever.

Will the interview be in November? And did she say why it took them so long?

She apologized at the beginning of the voice mail and again at the end. She asked me to please keep November 21 open from noon to 5 pm for interviews. I should be receiving a packet in the next two weeks concerning the interview, and other stuff.... I believe the WSP background check etc. before the interview can happen.

*She apologized at the beginning and the end in regards to the delay in getting to notify us. She said there was an issue getting all the interviewers scheduled (in October), hence it not coming together until 11/21. I think that is why they had to hold off notifying us. I could be totally wrong, but it seemed that way from her voice mail.
