Pierce Wa Nursing Program

Hi everyone! We will soon find out if we got an interview to the Pierce Nursing Program for Winter Admission. I created this forum to keep everyone up with the status of my application too! Post when you find out if you've got an interview, or post with your info (gpa, Kaplan score, etc.)

I have been having problems for a week with my phone. Hopefully they'll leave a message if my phone does not work.

I emailed stania about my phone and she responded that they have stopped making calls (not sure if this is since friday?)

"I have not been able to follow through on making all those calls just yet. Administration has asked me to hold off while they go over some details"

So getting a call could still be a "no" or a "yes to interview". Thank you for sharing this update. :)

Maybe they're trying to figure out a date to hold the interviews??? Now there's some positive thinking! :) I hope there wasn't a mistake or mishap in their process like TCC had with their lottery on August 7. I would simply like to know when they will be contacting us. Perhaps they could send a mass email to explain the situation and when we can expect to hear. Fingers and toes still crossed.

Thanks riely! Tomorrow would be great to hear something. I almost sent her an email today, but I too didn't want to bug her since I emailed her last week. I also hesitated to email her today because I'm not sure if she is part of the selection committee. In my head, since this is driving me crazy, I worry that I may sway her to change her mind about me if I email her again, lol.

I totally hear you. I called week before last, so I figured that was enough time :) I also apologized and said I'm sure she's getting a ton of calls, to which she said yes, but she thinks that's totally legitimate, and she apologized for the delay. I think her hands are tied, and she's frustrated too.

And it seems like they could have posted something on the nursing homepage like it days they would if the timeline in the handbook changed. I'm just ready to hear, but then, the waiting starts all over again if we do get selected for an interview! Haha!

Yes, it will be a quick mixture of excitement followed by more anticipation. Riely, I see you are in at TCC for Winter 2015. That has to be a huge relief to know you have that to fall back on. :) I keep checking Pierce's Nursing Program home page too. I keep telling myself to breathe.

So I did end up emailing her back asking if she had any kind of a time line for calling people. She just emailed me back this morning saying "No. I wish we had one – as we are now feeling almost as much pressure as you folks are. So sorry"

So now I'm confused since another friend had also heard that they would resume calls by today. .. i feel bad for her. She must be real frustrated too
