Does anyone know when the applications for Piedmonts residency for Fall 2016 will open? Also, does anyone know the usual timeline for applying to interviews to offers?

NICU, Atlanta location is #1. But I also told her I would be willing to do NICU at the other locations as well.

My dream job, too and that's why I applied last Thursday. Praying for good results.

I cannot reply to your message @K1048. I haven't been a member long enough and haven't posted enough, so it won't allow me to reply.

Basically, the recruiter came to our school to introduce the RN Residency program. She told us that the application would open that night. I applied a few days later, and got a call for an interview maybe a week or two later. Nothing was super extraordinary about my resume, except my senior practicum being on an ICU unit.

Another person I know from my class also got called for an interview maybe a week after me.

What university did you graduate from since their recruiter visited? I'm curious although I'm out of state, just curious!

I don't think that is necessarily true, if you know your stuff you should be fine. Obviously if you want to work to work in CV you will have enough passion for it to learn what you need to regardless of the opportunities you are given (or not) while in school. My friend has only had medical ICU experience and did very well in the interview. She also received an offer there.

Your comments are encouraging and gives those of us applying now more incentive to remain confident in what we've learned and observed while on ratations.

Hello,

I just received an email notifying me I received multiple offers from Wellstar at AMC-Downtown for critical care or acute care Neuro/tele. Once I notify her they will get the offer to me. The base pay $23.65 but with differentials it ends up being $29.

Of course, I will keep my options open if contacted by Emory and Piedmont with an offer.

Congrats! I'm so excited to hear this news it's a VKESSING for you! At least we know they've started doing interviews because you are the first person I've seen on a thread be contacted by Piedmont-Atlanta.
