Hello everyone,

I wanted to start this thread because I am very interested in the Piedmont New Grad nursing residency program summer/fall 2014 in Atlanta. It will be nice if you could share your experience or share your thoughts about anything. Did anyone apply for the Summer/Fall program yet?

I hope you get some good news today RN-Student 14!! :)

I did not! Praying I hear something next week. (I know I will not get a call over the weekend) What about you?

I should find out on Monday! If I don't hear back Ill call in the end of next week. Wish everyone good luck!

Do you know of anyone or heard if anyone received a call on Friday?! For either acute care, critical or CV.

Please post if you receive a phone call today or rejection letter (we all are anonymous) just so we are aware call backs have started. Thanks

So one of classmates received a rejection email on Thursday for CV. So.... I guess they have started to reach out.

Hello Everyone! I'm just seeing this for the first time today. I love that everyone is keeping one another posted on what's going on. What a great forum! I too applied to Piedmont's New Grad Nurse Residency Program in mid April. It's been just short of 3 weeks since I submitted my application and I have yet to hear anything via email or by phone. I called HR this morning to see if I could get a status update and was told they didn't do that over the phone :( The lady told me that when there are changes they will be posted online and you will be able to view them by logging into your job page. I don't know what everyone else's submission status says but mine says it's completed and updated as of April 18, 2014. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm not being considered since many of you have gotten calls, gone on interviewed, and/or received some sort of communication regarding the residency.

Well, I called this morning just to inquire if job offers started, specifically for acute care, and she said not everyone that the managers are interested were contacted yet. She said hopefully I will hear something next week. She also said that it may take a little longer to hear back if the managers decide to interview more people. So basically what I gathered from that is, I may not be getting a call back :( Critically thinking, she said "not everyone was contacted with an offer yet" and "managers may decide to interview more candidates". Meaning they were not satisfied with the ones they interviewed already so they are starting again. Honestly, I wish they would just be upfront and say sorry at this time we are not interested. I am going to continue to apply to other hospitals. Good luck guys.

Another update, a class mate of mine had an interview for CV and heard the recruiter offering positions. So I am guessing if you do not hear anything by Wednesday, or if your really optimistic Friday, then most likely we will not get a call. Have a nice week guys. either way don't give up, just keep applying.;)

has anyone heard anything this week? received a rejection email after interview or received a job offer?

Neither. No call, no email, no job offer!

Well I'm not sure if I should call... I just want to know! It's hard to stay positive. Your classmate who got a rejection last week, did they interview?
