Piedmont New Grad nurse Residency 2014

Hello everyone,

I wanted to start this thread because I am very interested in the Piedmont New Grad nursing residency program summer/fall 2014 in Atlanta. It will be nice if you could share your experience or share your thoughts about anything. Did anyone apply for the Summer/Fall program yet?

I also applied to Gwinnett and received the invite but couldn't attend so I had to cross that off my list. I also applied to Emory, Grady, and Piedmont. Emory sent out a questionnaire, and should be doing phone interviews between now and beginning of May. I am going to look for other places this weekend.

Do you know when they applied? Are they in state or out of state?

I'm out of state with BSN. Applied March 27 or so, within the first 2 days application was open. Received a phone call April 2 and interviewed on April 21.

We will hear something soon guys. I am going to remain positive. I'll wait two maybe three weeks then I'll email or call the recruiter. Hopefully i won't have to do that though :)

Same here. I applied in the end of march. They called me for an interview in the beginning of April. I have BSN, out of state. I am waiting to hear back! They said that they will let people know in 2 weeks. So I am a little nervous :nailbiting:

Well since I interviewed on the 18, two weeks have not passed for me yet. They did say an email notification will be sent out if you are not offered a spot, but on older post some candidates never received a rejection email so they were left to assume they were not chosen. I am going to email the recruiter next Friday (2 week mark) if I don't hear anything.

Maybe I applied to late. Hopefully not though. I am out of state as well. Will be graduating May 10th with a BSN. Hopefully I will hear something soon. How did your interview go?

The job posting for CV is still active so I don't think you applied too late. The Med Surg positing has been deactivated which tells me they must be close to choosing. I promise you this feels just like nursing school. I remember my classmates and I were on here everyday hoping to hear good news about acceptance. Lol great memories.
