Hey there! How is it going at piedmont? I will be applying and would love to know how the process went (smoothly or not). Did they take a mix of BSN and ASN grads? And do you know how many people applied and got hired? Thanks! Hope you enjoy it. I used to volunteer there.

Congratulations! Yes, I work at Piedmont Atlanta. How do you like it?

I really like being a nurse at Piedmont Atlanta. Most of the nurses on my unit have are BSN grads. I only know of a handful of ASN grads. The hiring process was easy and very simple (interview, offer, background, health screen). Most of my nursing school cohort are employed with one of the Piedmont hospitals in metro-Atlanta, so I personally know a lot of people who are work at Piedmont.

thank you for sharing! Piedmont is a great hospital and wherever I get a job I will promptly begin my BSN. I also have a Bachelors in business so maybe that would give me a slight edge and I have been a SNAP (student nurse which means I do everything a CNA does plus what an RN does) for 9 months. Do you know which units the ASN grads were hired onto?

how much is there base pay?

How have you been liking it so far? Did you do a residency there? I just landed a RN residency in the ED there. I start at the end of July.
