PHSC Fall 2016 Hopefuls

Hi all!! I'm starting this new thread in hopes of finding some returning or new applicants to PHSCs Fall 2016 RN orogram! This will be my 4th time applying 3rd in a row..... I'm planning on retaking my Teas to try for a better composite score.. will be applying to all available campuses for the RN transition program! :-)

RN is what I applied for.

Initially, yes. I'd wait a few day for the call. I don't think anyone is not accepted provided you met the min requirements. We just go on a wait-list.

Yes. Maybe just the generic RN applicants got called. The LPN selection may be on a different day.

they're calling both generic and transition. idk about LPN but i'd assume so. Tons of people have received calls.

haven't heard anything yet, but an old classmate of i just received a phone call ten minutes ago. i'm freaking out.

I just got my email so they are still working. Hang in there! I have the kind of luck where I don't ever hear anything early or have an easy time of things, so I am a little stunned to be honest. I hope you all get where you want to be and hear ASAP!!!!!

I got my call earlier today. Wanted to make sure it wasn't some kind of joke/scam/etc... so I let it go to voicemail. Googled the number, matched up the number with the PHSC admissions office and then called back. I talked to Heather who told me I was accepted to the Porter campus, and told me she needed me to give a verbal confirmation if I was accepting the seat.

I declined it due to acceptance in another program.

The weird part is that despite declining the seat, I still got an acceptance email at about 7:15 this evening.

I got a call and an email stating that I got accepted into the RN program.

Haha. I guess she didn't say during my call either, I just assumed it was West campus. Let me know, we may be classmates soon! :)
