Phillips School of Nursing ABSN Summer 2022

Published

Hi all,

Saw on Youtube that a girl started a community amongst her cohort using this forum so I thought I’d try the same. I’ve submitted my application for PSON ABSN Summer 2022 today, although the final date to submit for a Summer start is in February of 2022. Now I play the waiting game.

My pre req stats are as follows:

A&P I: A+

A&P II: A

Stats: A

Chem w lab: A-

Nutrition related course: A+

General Psychology: B

Human development: A+

Micro: IP

Ethics: IP

Thank youuu! I am elated @dines. I forgot to add they also asked me what are my test taking strategies and how do I study  as one of the interview questions @Bubbi.

Feels like yesterday when I applied to PSON. Will be 2 cohorts ahead of you by the time you all start, good luck to everybody.

@applicant 101 thank you so much may I ask if can purchase books from you ? I've been searching for someone on here . Here is my  email [email protected]. may you email me if yes

I don't have paper books LOL, we use Coursepoint for e-books and course assignments, you literally have to buy from the website and enroll in your classes. Although you have the options to buy paper books for extra costs but I didn't.

Thank you for your response LOL

I need hands-on books , I literally hate e books because  in my head I need to write and mark my books up with highlighters,  plus if I pay for a book I want to be able to keep it.  After the programs were over , werr you still able to have access to your purchases? @applicant 101

I like paper books too, but it comes with $50 extra cost per book so... LOL

It gives you anywhere from 12 months to 24 months subscription time depending on how long you need it for per your program's requirement. So they can be expired.

That is  unreal,  I need my books LOL . Thanks for letting me know

Hi! Do you mind if I ask how you’re liking the program so far? I’ve just paid my deposit and am wondering how you’d rate your experience on a scale of 1-10. Id really appreciate it!

yes would like to know as well of your thoughts on the program! would really appreciate it  @applicant 101

Good afternoon everyone!
New applicant here, I just received my acceptance half an hour ago! It feels so surreal!
I see a couple of you have gotten yours as well, Congratulations to us all!
I hope to see you all for this program cohort, I am too emotional here LOL

Good luck to everyone who have applied!

happy new year! ?

I give it a 8 personally speaking. A lot of self-learning/self-studying, some inconsistency here and there. Sometimes can be confused as different professors teach you different things in terms of labs. Email reaponses are slow, but I understand people can be busy, also not allowed to review exams that's bothering us the most. lab time is not enough, etc.

Otherwise, I like it. We have mentorship here that you can be paired up with a mentor from previous cohort and he/she can help you through the program. We have student representatives that can voice our concerns and communicate with the faulty, etc.

Congratulations!! @EdaTheInfermiere

Yes , I was so elated tooo .
