dear all, is it hard to get into Phillips Beth Israel School of nursing?? i heard they require to take the pre-nursing exam and do you guys know what subject of matter test on the exam?? is it hard?? since i never take any biology before!!

Not that I know of, but I don't really know what most people's scores were. You only have to have a 55% so you were still way above that. I know the waiting is terrible but just try and keep positive and hopefully you'll hear some good news soon!

in case you talking about PBISON I just want to let you know that I got a 78 in the %tile norms and my file is at the admissions committee.at least that's what I was told few day ago when I called...

also, they told me that I should expect to hear from them middle of May.

Tootsieny, what was your composite,because I haven't gotten mine thru the mail yet. I was only given the percentile over the phone.

also, from what I understood ,they look at precentile score not at composite:uhoh21:

I wrote to them earlier with regards to my transcript.I'm now doing microbiology and i wont get that result until first week of June after my finals. I wanted to know if it will cause a problem with the may 1 deadline and to get an interview. They already have the rest of my transcript.Hoping to hear something by tomorrow. will keep you posted. Like you they said mine is already with the committe.

When I was applying last year I always sent my emails to Ms. Stern. She was very good about getting back to me promptly.

dt209 - It shouldn't matter about not having thr grades for your Microbiology yet. When I had my interview I was still taking two classes for the spring semester so I was just told to send in the transcripts for it once I had the new grades in order for them to give me credit. Good luck with everything!

I emailed them at the school last night and I was told that my application is with the committee and i will hear from them within three weeks.
