dear all, is it hard to get into Phillips Beth Israel School of nursing?? i heard they require to take the pre-nursing exam and do you guys know what subject of matter test on the exam?? is it hard?? since i never take any biology before!!
I do think that they would prefer high NLN scores and good GPA, but I also think that the essay is very important. If you can make yourself stand out that way, I think you still stand a good chance of at least getting an interview. I know when I had my interview there alot of what we talked about was based around the essay that I wrote. Good luck! Keep us posted on how everything goes! :nuke:
to whom it may concernI called PBISON this morning and they told me that my file is under review! :icon_roll
and they said that I should expect to hear from them the third week in May...
I was told the same although they were more specific with you w.r.t the May thing. Btw,check your PM.I've written to you about my score.
Hi Bayley,
I called the school today about my application status because I've nor received my results in the mail yet. They have though. I got a 72 percentile, but did bad in the math. That's what I was told and that my application will now be turned over to the admissions committee. Don't have anymor info.
Do you know anyone that got in with that percentile

I would recommend on this last day before your test to do one of the comprehensive practice exams in the back of the book, and really watch your time. A lot of people run out of time on the math section, so don't spend too much time on any one problem during the actual exam. For problems I wasn't sure about, I made a best guess on the answer sheet and then circled the question in the test booklet so that I could come back to it later if I had time. If math is your weakness, do a lot of practice problems involving ratios and percentages.
Do something relaxing to clear your head before bed, and don't stay up until 3 or 4 tonight! Get a good night's sleep. Scoring above the 55th percentile is not difficult, so don't worry about that part so much. Best of luck. :wink2:
