Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone has applied to the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in NYC for the coming year? I am looking to get into their part-time evening program that would begin in Spring 2011. I'm taking the NLN this Wed and really nervous about it, really just the verbal part....
I'm still not sure. They ask for my SSN#, which makes sense, but is still something I don't want to just hand out. And I'm surprised that PBISN didn't attach the info themselves; this could have easily gone into my spam folder. Plus the timeframe seems really really short. I also don't like that they refer to it an employment position. I don't know, it just seems weird. I might wait until Monday and call Mrs. Gallo.
can't wait for Monday, so we can start :)
who's got what schedule?
ive got clinicals on mon morning, lab on tues, and lec tues/wed.
is anyone getting the med/surg book now? i think im gonna hold off b/c its alot and they said we won't need it till next sem.
what did everyone think of orientation?
I'm so jealous! I don't start until Thurs cause I'm in ATOP. I'm super excited too. I can't believe I have made it here. I still feel like I'm in a dream.
I thought orientation was great! All the faculty seems super nice and helpful. I really liked the students that I met. They were so enthusiastic about the school and that made me feel honored to be a part of it. (sounds corny I know) Good luck with your studies.
Can't wait for Monday - but I also can't believe it's really here! Weren't we all just taking the NLN and wondering if MG would ever call? Loved the orientation! Everyone was so nice and supportive. I'm going to hold off on the med surg book for now.
Two questions - Does anyone know when we can log into Moodle? I'm new to using skyscape. Is it better to download the subscription version or the standard version?

I got the same email. I dunno...it seems legit to me. I found out the status of my scholarship application on Friday--I applied July 1st.
