Phillips Beth Israel Applicants

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has applied to the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in NYC for the coming year? I am looking to get into their part-time evening program that would begin in Spring 2011. I'm taking the NLN this Wed and really nervous about it, really just the verbal part....

my last name starts with K if thats of any help to you guys.

i have a blackberry tour - but i dont think i would use it as my PDA...the battery sucks on it and we may not be allowed to use one with phone capabilities. if you go to the forums on PDAs they have a lot of suggestions. I am plannin on buying the itouch also - if i ever hear word of the decision!!! lol

Hi guys.

I had my interview this morning. it went much like others' have gone. She (Pass-Stern) spoke about "when" not "if" which was exciting. But also said no decision until June 14, when the committee meets. She said the last group of people they were considering from the last go-round of interviews was huge so it's taking them a long time to get through them all.That's what's taking so long. And I didn't get a tour of the classrooms, which some of you all did. What does it all mean? Something? Nothing at all? So confusing.

All in all I feel pretty good about it. The 3-year program is days Marbella, so maybe we'll overlap in some classes. i have a bunch of pre-reqs to take though.

Who was it that's going to take Psych online this summer? Maybe we can do it together. B. Pass-Stern said it would be a good idea to get whatever classes you can out of the way where it's less expensive.

@ sarahcas, i didnt get a tour either, so it doesn't mean anything. it was just a one on one with PS as well.
