what do you mean? qualifying exam for what? i'm interested in training/volunteer in PGH. thanks.

i thought they'll be updating applicants through their yahoo groups, why i wasn't able to get any advisory from them about this?

i didnt get any update too...that's why i'm asking around... so you mean i lost the chance? when's the next one?

to those who are asking about the said program of the PGH, its a training i think its called ''advancement program in clinical nursing'' 6 month training you have to pay if you pass the qualifying exam. they issue a limited number of deans form also u can down load it from the site its one of the requirement in order for u to take the exam. once u have the deans form they will give u the list of requirements needed. dont know if what certain month they release it.

For the qualifying exam, does the examinee need to have a PRC license already? I just passed the November 2009 board...

its a must that you have your license already. congrats to new RN's:yeah:

i think the qualifying exam is for the training not for hiring. They are on freeze hiring as of the moment.

Congrats to the new RN's!

thanks for the reply. yeah even if it's just for training, i'm interested. but i don't even know my board rating. does pgh have a minimum requirement?

hello hello guys. i am also interested to do volunter or work as a nurse trainee in PGH, i went to their website and i found the 20th "Advancement Program in Clinical Nursing (APCN) ( 6 months )"--- is this for nurses who wants to volunter? or the other one "1st Clinical Nursing Enhancement Program (CNEP) (four months)"???
