Philippine Nursing Graduate 2010

Published

Hi everyone please I need your help.

I am a nurse graduated from Philippines and I was not able to challenge the board of Nursing here in California because according to them we have to take additional units on MS and OB. But recently I have heard news that they are accepting again even you are lacking units, is this true? Has anyone know anything about it? Please help and thanks

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

I think if you check out the Nurse Registration the ones getting accepted trained before 2005 or the schools have changed their program and people are just beginning to meet requirements as set by CA

hi. what does it mean? I graduated 2009 I took NClex at Vermont State but unfortunately I failed. Now I want to take it again here in California but Im just wondering if I can take it without any issues like going back to school to get some units. If so I want to take LPN instead. And by the way, is ITiN acceptable to take exam in LPN?

thanks

I had a classmate whos from california as well and she graduated last 2014 in the philippines. She was about to register as a usrn but the board told her she had insufficient units in ms. She ended up taking classes anyway

I'm Philippines RN and want to take NCLEX. I live in Delaware. Can you help me what to do?

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

you start by applying for a nursing license by examination as an internationally educated nurse with the Delaware Board of Nursing. Once the BoN determines your credentials meet state requirements then you will be given authorization to register, pay for and schedule to take the NCLEX.

Start with the BoN website
