PHCC spring 2012 lpn applicants

Hi everyone! Just wondering if there are any other Phcc lpn applicants going crazy out there? The waiting is killing me, and I'm afraid my husband might murder me if I don't stop Freaking out lol. Between stalking the mail carrier and talking about it all the time, he is over it. Can't blame him either. So just looking to see if any others are doing the same.

My letter came...I was selected as an alternate

I've been lurking and waiting patiently, but I got my letter today. I got in!!! yeah!!

Springhopeful - I had a 78 on my TEAS. So you're not too far behind as an alternate.

Got my letter today too....... Got selected as an alternate as well. So bummed. A huge Congrats to those who made it, and to those who don't, keep fighting it will happen. Now nothing to do but wait some more.

If I don't get in, I am going to finish my pre reqs in Spring and apply for RN in Fall. Hopefully I can keep up the 4.0 and just study my butt of to raise my TEAS score.

Hopefully we both get in as alternates though...good luck...I am stressing here with ya!

Agreed. I'm gonna do the same thing. Do you have any idea how the alternate process works? When would we hear if we get in I wonder. Registration for the spring is gonna start soon. So frustrating.

Thank you. I have my pre-req's done for RN but my science TEAS score wasn't high enough to apply. I think some people apply for RN and LPN and if they get into both... they decline the LPN. And that's where the alternates come in. I have also seen people in the past where things come up in life - job loss, move, money. I hope you both get in.

Redsox- I am not sure how it works exactly...but agree with CK73 that some people apply to both and decline LPN if they get RN, so here's hoping lotsa people did that!

I would like to know where I stand on that alternates list...I think I may start getting things done like the physical, immunizations, etc..just in case. Worse case scenario- they'll be done for Fall!!

I called today to find out more, but campus was closed...bummer!

CK73- thanks for the optimism...I hope Redsox and I get in too! If I try for Fall, I will have to retake my TEAS cause my science wasn't high enough for RN either! Way too much Chem and Physics lol I wasn't prepared.

Springhopeful that's a great idea! A great way to move forward. And ya I knew how you could get in as an alternate, but I was wondering more how many alternates are chosen and the order they are allowed in. I hope we get in too!
