PHCC spring 2012 lpn applicants

Also, are you guys suprised there aren't very many people on these boards for Spring 2012? It seems like other years they had alot more people curious about the programs/ competition/ etc.

There are only a handful of us stressing out on here!!!

Hopefully it means that not that many people applied- long shot!

I don't know about the admission process it honestly seems so screwed up. And yes the LPN program is just based on teas scores for entrance into the program. I am planning on doing the bridge program so the last two terms I have been doing all the pre-reqs for it. That's the 4.0 gpa. But I just had an advisory meeting a couple weeks ago to review options if I don't get into the program in January. It was there she showed the teas score range for lpn and rn program that got accepted in the fall. She had also said since the teas v has been used, scores have dropped drastically on average. Again who knows. For all I know they put everybody in a big hat and pick numbers. I'm just over the waiting already! And I agree that I am surprised by the lack of response. Could be great news for us if there is no competition. Lol. :idea:

So, I ran out to the mailbox and guess what was inside....a letter from PHCC! I was so excited..BUT it was just a stupid notice about me not qualifying for Financial Aid since I have a degree already.

I thought for sure it "THE" letter lol UGHHH...the wait continues... :bugeyes:

That is just brutal! I agree with the above comment about the lottery. I heard from someone that they met yesterday. I don't know if its true or not, but hopefully our wait is almost over. I'm pretty sure my husband is going to murder me, or the mail girl is gonna have me arrested for stalking. Soooooo anxious to get the news!

Got a letter today from PHCC- reciept of my application to the Practical Nursing program- all pre-reqs met and packet complete. Just says the committee will meet soon to select qualified students. But, the letter is dated the 12th, envelope says the 17th, so it sat for almost a week before being mailed out! Hope they don't delay that long with out acceptance/ rejection letters lol

Anyhoo, just an update...anyone else get PHCC mail today??

Still nothing :mad: I am going crazy. The admissions office said they met last week for LPN and we should be receiving letters starting this week. But they are always saying something different. I don't think I can wait to much longer without Freaking out completely Lmao. Ahhhhhh!

Ok everybody. Keep your eyes peeled (as if they weren't already) admissions said today that the letters are going out today and tomorrow! I'm Soooo ready! These next few days are doing to drag on. Everyone has git to post if you got it!
