PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!

Published

I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

Now, for LPN GPA is not a factor right? I think I was told it's only the teas score? My fiancé got in with a 75% teas last fall

Correct. LPN is by TEAS only.

I have a 4.0 and a 74% on the TEAS... I appled to the RN and both LPN programs as well...

Welcome back MrsPotts! Haven't seen you in a while. With a total score of 87, you can most likely breathe easy. Let the waiting continue...

ScarletJones, I'm super late for my score.

So here:

Able2012

3.26/73/transition/west campus

i live in Pasco county so I get that 5%!

I calculated them though and it was a 77 in ranks! I hope it's good enough!

Hang in there ladies. Our patients really is wearing thin but it's all we've got ☺️

It's all a ruse, I am confident. They will be here this week. No stress...

By the way, all you 'stalkers' reading and not posting (yea we see you ;) there are 15 of you as I type!) - join in the chaos, we would love to hear from some of you!

Lol! Enjoying the humor in all these chaos MamaBerry! I'm a devoted stalker; I confess! Lol

Are you MrsPotts' significant other!? You guys are too cute! :-) We have all formed a bit of a hatred towards you, as well. Your score is crazy off the charts! Congrats on that, by the way! ;-P

Wow, things really got moving in here! Welcome to all the new posters and good luck!

That would be me, unless she has another husband/boyfriend/lover stashed away somewhere I don't know about...

It's like I told one of my coworkers this morning: and now we play the waiting game...

So I have not read all the pages, but I did talk to the head of admissions for west campus. She said that decisions will be made by the 1st week of July and letters will go out then because applications were not due to June 2nd. I wouldn't start stalking the mail man till after July 4.

I guess you are also taking rankings.

4.0 including AP2 Micro and Lifespan 86% on the TEAS and I'm apply to the Generic RN program at West Campus.

Also, don't underestimate Mirco...it's a very hard class that will build your foundation for pharmacology. I would not take this online, because you really need to be hands-on...especially in lab!

I want to say that the extension was only for the paramedic to RN and paramedic cert programs.

No the extension was for everyone because the deadline fell on a Friday and PHSC is closed on Fridays. They just moved it up to that Monday. That shouldn't have caused any delay though considering it was only extended by 3 days and most of that was weekend.
