I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!
Everything will work out. Just take a deep breath, and know it's gonna be just fine. Appeals do not take that long. Patients is key to making smart decisions and proper analysis of any situation. I'm sure the committee is doing thier best to complete this in a timely fashion. We still have plenty of time until mid august. Fill your time with your last break from school until next summer. If you're in a summer class, focus on your studies and time will fade, and the letter will be in your mailbox when you least expect it
Hi everyone, I have been one of the "Stalkers" on here the last few weeks lol. I applied for the LPN program only with a 69 TEAS score, which is terrible but I figured I could always take it again and apply next semester if I don't get in this time. I think it will be a miracle if I get in this semester going by everyone else's TEAS score lol. I have enjoyed reading all the posts, so as Mamaberry says I will join in the chaos. We are all here for the same reason, so good luck to everyone.
Call me a first time stalker (my wife asked me to check for both of us) or a stalker by proxy (I've read through a coworkers connection before) but everyone's freaking out over nothing. Think of it like this: July 15th is Christmas Day. You look forward to Christmas Day because that is THE day that awesome stuff happens. If it comes early? That's gravy.
I'm probably one of the reasons they're taking so long though: I didn't turn mine in until the last minute as it took me that long to decide that I wanted to enter nursing.
To all the people going for LPN. Did you apply at Erwin Tech? They have one of the best LPN programs ever and it's way cheaper than a state college.

Welcome! Don't get so down on the TEAS score. A lot of the people on here are ADN or Transition to ADN applicants. So, unfortunately, you can't see a good view of your 'competition'! Either way, welcome to the waiting game. It will be over soon...

Well, welcome stalker by proxy, whoami313 You didn't delay anything, I assure you!
As for July 15th, yeah, don't believe that LPN letters say mailed by the END of June, and RN letters say mailed by first week in July. Past threads have gotten anywhere from the 14th-25th. We will get it before then. They are giving scripted responses at this time. But, you are right! Stop anticipating and it happens and then YAY!!
So, did just you apply? Did your wife and you both apply? Which program? Care to share stats? If not, no worries. Sorry, we are just a curious bunch
Stephen and MamaBerry are our voices of reason! Lol What would we do without you guys!? ...go freaking crazy...-ier. ;-P
See, what we are doing here is working on our future! You have to be OCD, and crazy, to deal with the medical field! We are refining those skills right here on this forum!!!

There must be a lot of other applicants getting antsy...I've never seen more than 22 "readers" on this topic. Everyone is wondering where the deuce the letters are! Lol
