PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!

Published

I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

I wonder if there were that many people who applied that the delay in the committee meeting was due to all the data entry of applicants TEAS and GPA scores. :nailbiting:

Wow July 15th. This is so not fair! Every other year except for one had their letters by now.

I'm calling their bluff. I don't buy it  Think we are all stressing for no reason. I spoke to the sweet woman (she really is nice) that is responsible for sending out the letters and she assured me that if I don't have my letter by the first week in July to call her. Still convinced this is all a ruse to keep us at bay.

Albeit and unnecessary ruse. If they just said "all letters are mailed out on xyz and not a day earlier" it would make the lives of their staff and us potentials SO less stressful!

Thank you for your ray of optimism! I think we can all use it right about now! Lol :-)

If I were you, I would just schedule your appointment now. The site tells you everything you will need. The forms are even online that need to be filled out. And, honestly, you will have letter and packet back before you can get into the doctor anyway. Schedule the appointment, the papers come, you go to doc. Easy Peasy...

Has anyone gotten the mail today just in case? My lady is late.

Nevermind. She did deliver. But no letter as expected.

Whereabouts did you find the forms at, MamaBerry?

Here, allow me to shower some rainbows on everyone! Does this comfort anyone? It's from the 2012 thread:

Oh perfect. Thanks so much!!

Ugg... no text/chat speak kills me!!!!!!!! "No Problem" :)

ARRRRRRRGH. NOTHING. AGAIN. Mail came. NOTHING. It's so frustrating because I am not eligible for any kind of federal aid until I get accepted into the program because I have 150% more credits than need for an AA because I earned them doing prerequisites for my RN (before I moved to Warner Robins, Georgia) and then getting my LPN. Since that's a diploma and not a degree...you see where these run on sentences are going. My major remains an AA until accepted into a limited access program THEN I have to appeal..I need to get accepted in enough time to be able to apply and get approved for financial aid. So, when I hear they're not even meeting until July 15th...when I thought it was WAY sooner..I wanna cry. I hate doing things last minute. There are too many people last minute. I need a paper bag.
