PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!

Published

I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

OK!! so I am new to the thread I applied with s 3.3 GPA and a 65.3 Tease score for the bridge program

I am also a Pasco resident.I read last years post and see that someone hinted on the possibility that the reading score on the teas were used for calculation purposes.Does anyone know about this?

Map, I want to say they use your overall score...however there are "minimum" scores that you must get on the Science and Reading portions; maybe that was what you saw? Welcome to you! :-)

I am not sure I just wish they would let us know exactly before we apply

"In order to apply to the program, students must show Proficient, Advanced, or Exemplary in the ATI Academic Preparedness Level section of the ATI TEAS score report."

That's directly from the PHSC website and all the information they provide. On what I have inferred, it seems like it's your overall "preparedness level" that counts, not necessarily particular sections.

I am at work today can someone please post if there was a letter in the mail asap!

I will. My mail normally comes between 12 and 1. Although I also have a feeling that we won't get letters until the end of the week.

I know that fact I wish I knew how exactly the calculations were done to calculate actual scores.

Okay so .. I just called. And what they told me was that the letters arent even sent out yet. They wont be sent out until the first of next month she says. I asked, "so the letters arent in the mail yet?" she said right. so yeah great news guys

Hi Friends! I have some bad news. I just called and spoke with someone in admissions and she said the committee still hasn't met yet. Allegedly, they will be meeting by the end of the month and the letters won't be sent until the first week in July. Ugh...my anxiety/nerves have been out of control all weekend long!

Lol! I wonder if we spoke with the same woman.
