I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

We bought our first house as newlyweds here 13 years ago when it was all little nice old people - I loved it! Now it's just getting skeeery ... Have you been to winndixie at night ??! I can't wait to move out of here. I hate seeing my neighborhood decline over the years... It's sad really.

So I was reading last years forum for the nursing program, basically if we get in we get a package with our letter. I am hoping for a package and not just a little letter. eeek.

From what I've heard, the package comes after the letter, so don't be worried if it's just a letter.

That's good to know, I thought there would be a packet involved too since they say if you are accepted the first thing is to sign something accepting your seat. Maybe that's part of the letter or maybe it comes later in the packet? I'm not sure. Lol. Getting back on a positive note the weekend is so close!!! That's something else to look forward to. My boyfriend recently got a new boat so I've been getting a lot of salt water therapy thankfully.

It should be two pages. One with your acceptance letter and the other is the one you turn in accepting your seat and once they receive that they'll send the packet with everything you have to know and do. They could always change it though.

Oh Holiday...I once went there and was so scared I never returned! I live in Wesley Chapel which, considering a lot of the surrounding areas, seems like a happy rainbows and butterflies (and unicorns!) bubble. Zephyrhills, Dade City, and NPR all have some VERY interesting creatures! I tend to keep to WC unless I'm on a mission...like my calculator escapade. Speaking of which, got an A on my midterm! Woohoo!

I'm dedicating today and tomorrow to strictly studying for my a&p exam (taking it saturday). Its just sooo hard with my little minions running around. I have to say that my ipad and youtube are my saviors because I can lock myself in the playroom with them and do my thing.

I live in Zephyrhills and I would have to say the people are interesting. It's mainly like a retirement city and the snowbirds are ridiculous when they're down. I lived in Tampa and moved recently so I'm still getting used to the small town atmosphere that it has. I enjoy working in Wesley Chapel even though I haven't expanded much to know the area and where the living quarters are around here. Seems like there's just suburbs but they look like really nice houses. I just know my way to work and around the mall. Lol.

Thank you both! Yay Wiregrass! Lol the Grove is also wonderful! We live in Palm Cove which is off of Vandine/Boyette and 54. It's kind of out of the way (or at least used to be) but now they are building some water plant in the preserve that was across the way from our development...gotta love it! The only place I've found crazies in WC has been Walmart, but that's not much of a surprise! Lol Walmart seems to have some sort of a gravitational pull for crazies regardless of the location. If you enjoy people watching, I'd say take a trip to Tractor Supply on Gall in Zephyrhills...or Golden Coral. We get our dog food at TS ~once or twice a month and every time I see something worse than I had the time before...I continue to be amazed! :-) I love people watching...it's why I can never go anywhere to "do homework" because I end up getting nothing accomplished!
