PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!

Published

I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

I can see how the tubes would rub against each other. I consulted with Dr. Google and many say the same - double tube = no bueno.

ScarletJones & theAFwife,

Finally, you two got it...lol.....I blame it on the anxiety, I know how you feel right now, hopefully in a week or so you have the letters!

But looking at your gpa and teas, you both have nothing to worry about. Plan the celebration!!! lol

I blame it on statistics. This class is the devil!

Anxitey, nervousness, uncertainty....yup>>>>>me.

I need something to feed my brain while I wait to find out my fate

Next thing to research is the best white comfy shoes that dont make me look like a 90 year old.

I'll take statistics in Fall (at SH campus)...are you taking it online or on campus?

I hope it has less homework than college algebra! My algebra teacher told me that students usually do better in statistics than algebra, so I'm hoping it's easier!

ScarletJones,

A nice pair of white sneakers are the best and very comfortable.

You cannot have the nursing shoes which are closed in front but not really closed on the back! They're gonna tell you that during the first few weeks of lab at campus. But you have enough time for that, your clinicals probably start around October 1st.

Yep, I'm taking it online. I can tell you that I maintained a 99% in Algebra throughout the entire semester with minimal effort aside from a mishap with my final. I thought algebra was really easy and I think it's been one of my favorite classes thus far. Statistics is a lot different from algebra, though...I'm fighting to keep my 97. Maybe that's why people like it. I, however, do not. It's not really math...I mean, it's basic math but no formulas. Lots of vocab, just as much homework as Algebra if you take it online with My Math Lab.

Does anyone know how many applications there was for the fall program this year?

I don't know that they release that until after the fact...I'm not completely sure though.

I'm so tempted to call and verify when letters are going out. Has anyone called or anyone else received a call?

theAFwife - me too! I'm going out of town on Thursday and I will die if the letters come while I'm out of town!
