PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!

I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

Lol amen to you both. That's what I was originally holding out for as well--last week of June. Maybe we shouldn't expect them at all and then it will be super overly exciting when they do arrive unexpectedly! ;-) WAYYYY easier said than done, unfortunately.

I have never officially joined until today but I have been stalking this page hoping for new information.

I applied to RN and LPN, my husband only applied to RN because he has a 4.0 and received a 96% on his TEAS the first time he took it (without ever studying).... I secretly hate him for that.. HAHA

I have a 4.0, but could never get higher than a 74% on the TEAS.. I have never done well on standardized tests. I am praying for admission into the program. I have also looked into Rasmussen if I do not get in but I have heard mixed reviews... some people love it, some people hate it.

I dont know, that was actually rfblovee that called and spoke to admissions.

Do you think there are actually people who turn in incomplete applications?

I called last week and they told me that the letters will not be going OUT until the middle of June. So that would be next week if she was 100% certain. then we would be getting them the week after that which would be the week of the 23rd on. I looked back at other programs that applied for Fall and they got their letters on June 25th.

Hey, has anyone received a letter stating that the school has your application, and that thay are reviewing your app?

no, but my friend said that he got one of those. I kept checking my mail, but nothing.

I received one of those back on April 10th. It essentially just states that your app has been received, found to be complete, and is going to be included for further consideration.

Yes, I received the exact letter that afwife received about 4 days after submitting my application.
