I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

"PHSC Nursing Students Fall 2014" is the name of the group - try requesting. I dont know we keep having issues with invites. I tried to send you another one and it said you've already been invited.

Thanks for this thread! I am applying for Spring, that is after retaking my TEAS next month and hopefully scoring way better than the first time. Does anyone have a MicroB book for sale? taking that in the fall. GL to everyone who got in, please wish me luck on my Teas test and getting into the program!!

Do you know if PHSC takes off for attempting a class more then once for pre req gpa?

Jemcvay,

No, they do not hold it against your application score. However, the chances of a retake, no matter how long ago you took the course, are slim (unless you got a D or an F in the class.)

Thank you! Yes I have all my pre reqs done but I withdrew once from A and P 1( freshmen yr changed my major from nursing to crim. ... Wish I didn't but I was 17) then I took it again and got an Fx finally finished the class with an A lecture and lab when life/ myself got out of my way. ( in this te frame I had 3 kids)

I am freaking out! I keep bombing the science part of the teas. I swear each practice test I take has more random questions on it. I was thinking maybe focus on the other 3 sections. They just look at total score right? That way if I got 90s in the other 3 i would still pass with around an 80% I think. MamaBear help me! lol

If you are unable to open the link, search google for Allnurses post 'How I passed the TEAS V exam.' They even give you a list of websites to watch movies on subjects.

we had to make it private since people who were not yet in the program were requesting access and we wanted to keep it to currently enrolled students. If you are in the program and would like an invite, please pm me your email.
