PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!

I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

Hey LPN's...so I just made an appt. with Galen for their entrance exam, anyone else considering that school? Also, as I am eating my tub of cookie dough ice cream (my defense is my rejection letter) I received a call and let it go to voicemail. Listened to it and it was a rehab wanting to schedule an interview!!! I applied in Jan when I was on the hunt for my first lpn position. I am super excited! I def want the experience and I am getting so bored at an ALF. Plus, its 10 min away from me. I am currently driving abut 40 min to work. Stay positive everyone!

I didn't get my packet yet :( am I the only one?

Also, if anyone knows of any good deals for the titers, physicals, immunizations, etc please let me know because I have no insurance and don't want to pay an arm and a leg.

This packet is information overload...I'm so overwhelmed right now. Compounded with the B I just scored on my stats test and trying to get everything figured out for my A and P II class, I feel some waterworks coming on! AH! :cry:

Whoops I just got a call from Connie. The nursing department was trying to send me my packet but I completely spelled my email wrong. It's only my name and I left out my entire first name. *** is wrong with me!?

OK, hang in there girl. It's all good! Stats 2nd half is no joke. I'm telling you, I got straight a's until the chapters I told you about! Then got a's after it too. Final kicked my behind. I GOT A C ON FINALS!!!!!!!!! all because of that one goofy chapter!!!! Hang in there and YouTube if you need to. WORK AHEAD for this second half. Don't get a B like I did :( (and if you DO get a B, you won't melt - us perfectionists think we will, but we won't)

Think of this: YOU'RE GONNA BE AN RN IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!! yahoo!!!!!!!! regardless of stats ;)

Okay anybody else freaking out? I haven't read the entire packet yet but my due date is July 30. This week is pretty much a wash so that leaves is pretty much 3 weeks to get it ALL done. :(
