Do nursing monitoring programs do PEth testing, which is a blood test done to monitor the use of alcohol? Curious if there are any nurses in monitoring programs who are currently taking these tests in their random drug testing.
Can I donate blood then lol
Donating blood will not help at all. As the previous poster said, the metabolites will be bound to your blood cells, and unless you plan on draining yourself dry and putting in new blood, there is absolutely nothing you can do to alter the test result.
Furthermore, I would strongly hesitate taking detox pills, as supplements are not FDA regulated and God only knows what is actually in the pills that could potentially pop positive for something. There have been tons of anecdotal reports of people taking various herbals and then popping positive for weird crap. My contract specifically warns about supplements for that reason. Don't do it.
I know you want someone to tell you that you that all this will be fine, but we just can't tell you that. It's just going to be a nasty period where you are just going to have to sweat it out and brace for consequences, if any.
Best wishes,
Eris
