I know there are several periodicals, like AJN, Nursing2007, etc. They seem to be mostly geared to med-surg, hospital nursing (at least to me anyway). Are there any that are more geared to ltc?

There is one called Geriatric Nursing and one called the Journal of Gerontological Nursing. I've seen them both and mostly they are filled with articles written by people with PhDs who don't work in the 'real' world.
Nursing2007 used to have several editions...one specifically for LTC.

Once again, another great post. Capecodmermaid, you have a humourous, yet honest and accurate way of saying things. I love it. Hope you keep posting.
