Penn MSN 2020

Published

Hello! I'm surprised that no one has started a thread for the University of Pennsylvania 2020. I applied for the MSN Nurse Midwifery program. Anyone else applying for next year?

@AmyS4 and @avs6000 are you planning on working during the program?

I'm sorry, I didn't see this question. I was expecting to not work simply because I suspect the program will be pretty time consuming going full time.

I don’t plan on working either, it’s just nerve wracking to be putting so much money into something and not making any at the same time. So I wanted to see what everyone else was doing.

Has anyone heard anything yet?? It’s been about a month since I submitted everything. In previous years they had December interviews so I figure we will hear something soon?

Yay! So happy to have found this thread! I applied for NNP full time program, and already interviewed (pretty small cohort, so not sure if the timeline means much to other programs). Program director said she thought decisions were going out in mid- December, which is good as I don’t think I could make it until Feb, but we’ll see! Good luck everybody!

@GoBears23 so awesome! When was your interview?

Has anyone on here applying to the nurse midwifery program received an invitation to interview?

Hey guys, I still haven’t heard anything and I’m starting to get a little nervous!

I haven't heard anything from the midwifery department either. Hopefully in the next few weeks... Anyone applying to midwifery get an invite to interview?

Where did everyone else apply? I only applied to 3 schools (Penn, Emory, and JMU) but now I’m thinking maybe I should’ve applied to more.

Any part time applicants on this thread for a spring start? I had my interview with the agpcnp program director 11/18 and got my acceptance letter yesterday.
