Penn Foster Inform. Literacy

Penn Foster is no longer allowing ECE students to take 1 credit courses only...so even if Excelsior approved you to take PF English 103 (Info Literacy)...PF will no longer allow it. So I had the distinct pleasure of parting with $335 to take it through ECE.

Thanks for the update. I was planning on using Penn Foster for that course, since I was told it was a good course, and far less than EC. Oh well...

I think maybe you didn't read all the previous posts....it looks like it may still be an option! Don't give up yet...I'm gonna call about it today!

please post what you find out...i need it too, but if i can't get it through penn foster then i'm just going to go ahead and register for it with EC asap.

i went to penn foster's website and typed 1 credit courses in the search box, here is the link. there were 32 listed on that page and the bottom of the page says they also have 35 more electives to chose from, in which info lit is listed under. if you still can't find it call the lady listed in the previous post and asks her what other course you would need to take in order to get info lit.

I called and spoke with Katie today and as of July 15th you have to enroll in at least 3 credits at a time due to their recent policy change. So I guess I'll do it through EC.....

Probably not worth their time and effort to process one $90 course per student. I bet they were losing money in the long run. Bummer. I was going to go this route.
