Okay so I recently left my job at one of the major hospitals in my city for another job. After receiving the job, the job said they could not continue on with the offer due to a pending felony apprehension charge that is PENDING! I'm upset because they waited till the first day of work to say this. I caught the charge right before applying to boards, the Florida board of nurses are aware, so why did this job do this?? INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY RIGHT? *sarcasm* my feelings are really hurt, and bills are piling. I've know been turned down by 3 jobs due to this pending charge. Any suggestions? I have an interview with DAVITA. Do they do background checks? And other job suggestions

I think you may find that getting a job with this kind of charge pending will be difficult. Helping someone (even someone you love) avoid consequences to their behavior that rises to a felony level will not go over well with many hiring managers.
Hopefully you will be found innocent of the charge or can get it dismissed or expunged if you show the court the appropriate remorse.
