Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Okay I just had to sign up and state what I was thinking... You say are and LVN now, when you to clearly stated you took you're test on the 29th of April, and here's the shocker... YOU LIVE IN CA!!!! lets see I took my test on April 10th 2010, its been 5weeks and counting since i've heard anything from BON, NO LETTERS IN THE MAIL or anything. Just did the PVT each and every week and been getting the "good pop up," now i'm not relying on the PVT but it just gives me hope and a piece of mind until i actually get my results in my hands. But i'm interested to know, when did CA ever have quick results? I mean you got your results in less than two weeks :eek: Wow... I'm in CA too, i'd like to know how you got your results so quickly, cause these 5weeks have been filled with nothing with anxiety. I know theres no clear motive why you should "lie" to others on here, but you're story just doesn't match up... LVN in less than two weeks, in a state that doesn't have quick results? just doesn't add up. Well anyways congrats on becoming an "LVN" now. I just would of hoped the BON told us they were giving out quick results now :uhoh3:....

your results are here at the end of this week or mid next week. trust me. i took mine april 9th 2010. my frend took hers march 30th which is about 10 days before me n she got her results last week wed. may 12th. so im kind of calculating 10 to 12 days after that. that means i shud get mine end of this week or beggining of next. ill be updating. Good luck to me n all.

are you serious? almost 7 weeks!!!! this really makes me mad!!! where did u take it? where do u live in CALIFORNIA? i took mine in anaheim...only 3.5 weeks ago....some people here say they got it in 2 weeks....but i dont believe them...how come some of us wait a month and a half and others 2 weeks???!!!

i don't think "snail mail" has anything to do with PVT...your results will come soon enough...are you getting the 'good pop up?'

I was just asking what everyone thinks about the # of questions a person gets has to do with a pass or fail. Everyone seems to think I passed because I only got 75....they keep saying that getting SATA ?'s are a good sign because those are the harder ?'s......but I could have done very poorly just as easily.

My heart truly goes out to those of you that can't use the "Quick Results" feature!! I am curled up in a fetus position and I only have to wait 48 hours!! I am down to 5 1/2 hours now. It's agony!

:yeah:

well i am happy that everyone doesn't have the misfortune we have to endoure, so enojoy these 5 hours or so, and relax and remember to breath whem you are logging in and have someone close with you... (sounds good to me ) that's what i would do if i wasn't dreaming =so really enjoy the gift.

U will receive ur results anywhere from june 5th to june 9th. roughly. be patient.

last post , (my intention is good) i keep reminding myself that the number of questions still hasn't been brought up.....how is this for a loolu/

i went full 300 questions, it just kept going and going and i had no clue that 3 hours had passed.....talk about dumbfounded, and brain squeezed.....everyone in my class said they all stopped at 85... not meeeeeeee,.- good luck with the mail person tomorrow ya'll, and i do believe we will forum agian -

Yeah I took mine on April 10th in San Dimas, hopefully I get my results asap, cause the mail man and I have gotten pretty close these past two weeks. LOL... Everytime i hear the mailman pulls up, I rush over there and wait patiently till he fills the mailbox. He asks me whats so important that I stand there and wait for him, and I told him i've been waiting for my nclex results. He knows how long i've been waiting for it and each and everyday. Him and I look and wait patiently for that envelope, even he has become anxious for me to get it, LOL.... So hopefully I get it soon as well... I guess the BON has a little bit of Hollywood in them as they love to see us in suspense in drama....

I took the test on april 23 and still waiting on my results.. i followed all the steps and got the pop up that says "records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time"... so does that mean i passed?

so i am at the yes /no questions, am i suppost to answer as if we have or have not taken nclex yet?

Still nothing. The past 6 days were so long.........The wait is killing me... I don't wanna study since I don't know If I passed or failed! Why do they have to be so cruel to take the "pop-up" trick away! Why can't CA have quick results?

The PVT pop up thing is not gone, many have just taught me about it...i hadn't a clue what everyone was talking about....so since i am again awake and unable to sleep through the night.....i jusr did it.

try again:up:

greetings everyone. after this emotional rollercoaster, i will say that i believe in the pvt. it works. confirmed.

i took the nclex-rn back in march and the computer shut off at 75 questions. i heard about the trick from a classmate, and when i got back home from the exam, it allowed me to go straight to the cc page. no pop-ups--nothing to barricade me from that awful page. i was devastated. two weeks later, i received my letter. more devastation.

i took the nclex-rn this past monday 8am. the computer shut off at 196 questions. i felt much worse after this exam than the first. sata questions kept popping up like weeds (nooo! stop!)! unknown drugs (ugh! what the?!)! zero calc q's (perhaps the only ones i was confident in! where are you?)! after 5 hours of testing (despairing and pulling out my hair), i called my classmate in tears ("that's it. i blew it. i know nothing.").

i got back from the exam, and did a quick web search and i stumbled upon this page--a community of nurses/nursing students who were supporting each other. the pvt thread popped up and i followed the directions.

not even an hour after the exam, i tried the trick (my status was "delivery successful"). the "good pop-up" came up ("our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time"). i kept checking throughout the day and even early tuesday. still a "good pop-up." this helped ease my anxiety, but i still had doubt. around noon, my bf called to congratulate me. he had been checking the bon religiously and made sure that he was the first to tell me---i passed!

you know...i will say that the nclex is a terribly awful exam that tests you on the most obscure things you've learned in nursing school. from my experience (as well as many of my classmates), we all felt we came out of that exam knowing next to nothing (whether you had 75 questions or 265 questions). but...you know...we all have to go through it!

to all those who are taking it or repeat testers, hang in there! i've been there and i know of your struggles! you can do it! i only wish i knew about this thread earlier so that you all could have followed me along on my little journey! what a crazy rollercoaster ride that was. now, a new chapter begins...as a newly minted nurse!
