Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam? 

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I am wondering can you re register for another exam immediately if you fail the NCLEX-RN? I took the test on Monday and am VERY VERY VERY NERVOUS about the results.

greetings everyone. after this emotional rollercoaster, i will say that i believe in the pvt. it works. confirmed.

i took the nclex-rn back in march and the computer shut off at 75 questions. i heard about the trick from a classmate, and when i got back home from the exam, it allowed me to go straight to the cc page. no pop-ups--nothing to barricade me from that awful page. i was devastated. two weeks later, i received my letter. more devastation.

i took the nclex-rn this past monday 8am. the computer shut off at 196 questions. i felt much worse after this exam than the first. sata questions kept popping up like weeds (nooo! stop!)! unknown drugs (ugh! what the?!)! zero calc q's (perhaps the only ones i was confident in! where are you?)! after 5 hours of testing (despairing and pulling out my hair), i called my classmate in tears ("that's it. i blew it. i know nothing.").

i got back from the exam, and did a quick web search and i stumbled upon this page--a community of nurses/nursing students who were supporting each other. the pvt thread popped up and i followed the directions.

not even an hour after the exam, i tried the trick (my status was "delivery successful"). the "good pop-up" came up ("our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time"). i kept checking throughout the day and even early tuesday. still a "good pop-up." this helped ease my anxiety, but i still had doubt. around noon, my bf called to congratulate me. he had been checking the bon religiously and made sure that he was the first to tell me---i passed!

you know...i will say that the nclex is a terribly awful exam that tests you on the most obscure things you've learned in nursing school. from my experience (as well as many of my classmates), we all felt we came out of that exam knowing next to nothing (whether you had 75 questions or 265 questions). but...you know...we all have to go through it!

to all those who are taking it or repeat testers, hang in there! i've been there and i know of your struggles! you can do it! i only wish i knew about this thread earlier so that you all could have followed me along on my little journey! what a crazy rollercoaster ride that was. now, a new chapter begins...as a newly minted nurse!

beautifully put, and i have to agree with you completely---i wished i had stumbled on this thread before or even shortly after my nclex....i am just thankful i have found it now to help get me through the remaining wait period....again no snail mail...got the good pop up though early this morning i finally broke down and tried it. was scared to try but slowly went through the detailed instructions....instruction tap open on right side of screen, and pv on the other....

6 weeks 5 days down - (from california 'the land of opportunity; after the testing of patience').

i do have a question for all those out there that want to share anything. just out of curiosity regarding the 'trick' and mind you all...i just am enjoying this day and having some hope and even if a fantasy ending - this day has been much more uplifting and positive and for that i am happy...but bake to the question.

how can the trick work if someone has a ticket or something positive on backround - just curious for those who do = does it still work ? yes one may have "passed" however- if there is any investigating and enforcement unit is reviewing file- they are the final and deciding factor on releasing the "results" to the candidate.

even if a candidate passes, the enforcement unit can overturn the results....now i am not trying to dampen, rain on or do anything to anyone's parade or dream- i am venting, reaching out and grasping for anything. i obviously tend to over analyse everything, possibly why i had so many questions, and well, i have just been trying to find out why it is taking so long for results....

so that is again why i am so glad i found this site, as i am not alone and the time frame is somewhat across the board equal...but this head of mine won't stop the 'what if's"???????//=e$r%^&u*)r%^t&u*i()_

anyone out there get results today from california, near anaheim testing center, april 2ndish test date??????

I took nclex rn in ca on 5/13, I got the "good" pop up but my name is still not on ca brn website....this is straight TORTURE!!!!!! I had all 265 questions took me 3.5 hours. It was the most exhausting thing and I never wanna do it again. Anyone else take it 5/13 in ca and already see their name on brn website?

I took my exam 5/15 and i also got the good pop up and i still dont see my name on the website..i know how you feel because im feeling it every single day...i think about my results the moment i wake up and when i go to sleep...

I think they were saying that most people took the nclex from April 29 to may 16 have problem be coz of the maintenace update of the person vue but they just said that so just wait for the mail

i know what you are talking about because i read those posts too..i only saw 2 people posting that it didn't for them but they kinda look suspicious.btw,they took lvn exam not rn maybe it makes a difference...just dont think about it...i know someone who took the exam 5/15 and she tried the pvt and got a good pop up.after couple of days she found out she passed..this is just few days ago..so,dont lose hope..always stay positive...

OBVIOUSLY NONE OF YOU GUYS READ MY POST..... ITS 100% THAT IT DID HAPPEND TO OUR SITUATION, I GOT THE GOOD POP UP I DID IT RIGHT, DELIVERY SUCCESFUL I EVEN FOLLOWED THE STEPS, I GOT THE GOOD POP UP TELLING ME I CANT REGISTER AT THAT TIME AND I WAS SO HAPPY, 3 DAYS LATER I CHECKED THE CALI SITE AND MY NAME WASNT THERE, 1 WEEK LATER STILL NO RESULT NO NAME, I CALLED THE BRN AND THEY SAID JUST WAIT FOR THE LETTER IN THE MAIL, A WEEK LATER I GOT A THICK ENVELOPE WITH MY RE-APP FORM TELLING ME I FAILED. THIS IS SO UNFAIR, IT ALSO HAPPEND TO MY CLASSMATE IN KAPLAN WHO TOOK IT ON APRIL, SHE GOT THE POP UP 2 WEEKS LATER FAILED, AS FOR MY FRIEND WHO TOOK IT THE SAME DAY AS ME STOPPED AT 80 GOT THE CREDIT CARD PAGE THEN PASSES. HOW THE HELL IS THIS POSSIBLE.... SO DONT TELL US WE ARE LIARS AND BREAKING HEARTS, WE ARE JUST TELLING YOU WHAT WENT DOWN. umm ya i did read your post...and am a little confused. You state you took your test on may 4th and you waited 3 days to check brn website, nothing there...then 1wk later you called brn, they said to wait for letter, then 1 wk later you received your results in mail...hmmmmm.....today is only the 20th...how is it possible that all that happened already?.? Your post above was dated may 16th and you are saying it has already been 2 wks and 3 days since may 4th? 3 days after may 4th makes that may 7th...1 wk later is may may 14th and then 1 wk after that is may 21st (tomorrow). So ya, I will just keep faith in my math!!! Sorry you failed. Good luck next time.

I know it has been mentioned on this board that the website "fixed" the PVT so it no longer works. I honestly don't know what happened there, and I'm sorry to hear that. I can't offer you any real explanation as to why that may have happened...only support. Please don't be discouraged or lose hope, but continue to study diligently and believe...you WILL pass! You CAN do it!

To those still waiting...I can attest the the predictability factor of the PVT. I took the nclex-rn on 5/17, got the "good pop-up," and found my name posted on the BON the next day. If they "fixed" the PVT since the update, then they didn't fix it very well. PVT worked for me (sounds like a jingle...haha) as well as others who have poured out their experiences in the last 800 pages or so.

I think we can all reasonably decide whether or not to believe the PVT. I know I believe.
