Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Does the Quick results apply to California. The NCSBN website excludes California. Here's the link: https://www.ncsbn.org/496.htm

Good luck.

Nope CA do not participate in quick results so people taking their exam through them have no choice but to wait for name to appear on BRN if they have a SSN or wait for snail mail if RN and for LVN they have to wait for snail mail and pay license before they will see name on BVNPT

Queston for those who have 48 hour quick results is it 48 hours after you finish your test or what? I finished at 9:15, but my appointment time was 8am and my results are still not up. When should I look again?

I have been through a lot in the last 3 years but what has taken place in the last 4 1/2 months has been WORSE than our hardest test in school! :hlk:

I graduated from school back in October and then moved to Florida the very next day (to care for my mother who is sick). Because my school has 4 start dates for their nursing program and I was in the October class, I had to wait until February for them to finish my official transcripts with my degree stamp on them. This was the ONLY thing Florida would accept from them in order to approve me. So I decided to start searching for a job as a nurses aid just to get my foot in the door somewhere while I waited to take the NCLEX. I found it extremely difficult to study while working full-time and taking care of my family (husband, 4 children and mother) so to be honest I didn't even crack a book until I was hospitalized and had to have my gallbladder removed! :imdbb: That was only at the start of February!

Towards the end of February, I had gone over half the material in my NCLEX Exam Cram book and was starting to get very anxious. :barf02:I called my school and low and behold I found out that they FINALLY finished the transcripts! It took 4 months to finally be approved and then 5 days later I got my A.T.T. on March 2nd. :clpty:Needless to say, I immediately scheduled my exam and just finished taking it yesterday at 8am. :dzed: That exam seemed to have come from Mars! It was written in english but I didn't know a single one of the meds and the SATA's were impossible to figure out since the diseases and/or meds they were referring to were completely new to me! Oh and don't even get me started on the listening to breath sounds one (I never knew there were audio questions)! :throcomp: I walked out of that building absolutely sure beyond a single shadow of doubt that I had failed! :bluecry1:

I heard about this 'trick' from a former classmate of mine and she was so sure it works that I figured it couldn't hurt to look into it. That's when I found your thread here.:[anb]:

So after reading all the posts (yes I read them all) I was set to try it out for myself. However, like I said when that screen went blank, I was crushed because I knew I had failed and I didn't know how I could ever show my face to my family and my classmates (who had all passed~our class had a 100% NCLEX pass rate at the time).:sofahider Then as if by some sort of spiritual intervention, I remembered the trick. I left, went back to my hotel room and immediately tried to register. I got the 'good pop-up' and my jaw hit the floor! I couldn't believe what I was seeing! How could this be true when I knew I had guessed on 98% of those questions? So I figured I had tried too soon and needed to wait a while. I checked out and drove home. That 2 hour ride was the longest of my life! As soon as I got home, I got online and tried again...still the 'good pop-up'. I moved closer to the screen and re-read the pop-up. :specs: Still couldn't believe what I was reading! So this morning I tried it again and yet still the 'good pop-up'!

Ok so it appears as if I cannot deny that (at the very least) the trick seems to be telling me I passed. However, I can't get myself to truly believe it. Part of me wants to so badly but the other part of me just can't because I remember just laying my head in my hands and saying "I just don't know any of this!". :argue:

I know that thousands of you have written on here about how correct this trick is and I believe the only reason I haven't curled up in the fetal position and shut out the world is because of what you all have written on here.:tku: I hope to come back here in the next 24 to 48 hours and be able to officially announce that I am an RN! :dncgbby:

Thanks for letting me rant for a while. :spbox: It has helped me just to be able to let go of these feelings as I cannot tell any of my family and friends until I know for sure one way or the other. :aln:

The PVT was 100% accurate in my case. Took the NCLEX at 1pm on Mar 8, 2010 in California. Got online and did the PVT yesterday morning and got the good pop-up. Praise God!!!! Went online this morning at 8am and found my name on the online CA BRN Permanent License Verification. Woohoo. I had 103 questions, lots of SATA and documentation questions.

So wait you got results in 2 days for the CA BON? How was that possible??? I took mine 3/2/10 and I got the good pop up that day. And still nothing on BON CA! WTH!

Lauranelli -

Almost all of my classmates (about 30 so far) have been able to pull up their names on the CA BRN website in 2 to 3 days. The only exception was a classmate who had to wait 18 days because her transcript was not sent in time. I would call and find out if they have your entire package. Good luck. I'm sure you passed - you got the good pop up! =)

I took the NCLEX 3/1 & 3/2. Got the "hold" popup everyday. Finally called the BRN. They were as stumped as I was as to why I was on hold. :banghead: This morning I tried the PVT and low and behold I got the "good popup":). Now I just have to wait for my number on the BRN website that proves that the trick actually does work.

Well...to my complete shock, right after I posted my recent message on here I decided to check the FL BON site one last time before getting offline and saw that I am OFFICIALLY a licensed RN!!!!! PVT really works!!! Congratulations to all the other newly licensed RN's and good luck to all those who are getting ready to take theirs or who are still in school!

I took the exam yesterday. stopped at 75 questions and I was literally in shock. I've finally got the courage to check PVT and the good pop up showed up. I checked last night before I went to bed (even if i didn't get to sleep). First thing this morning i checked to make sure that it will still show up, it did. Now i am waiting for tomorrow to check the official result.

I just took the NCLEX-RN this morning. It was the hardest exam I have ever taken in my life. Even the MCAT was not as hard. I tried the trick when I got home and it would not let me register again. It said I should contact my member board. I just know I failed. I am in tears. I studied for 3 months before I took this exam. How long do you have to wait before trying the trick?:crying2::banghead:
