Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam? 

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Hi I took the exam on 2/22/2010 in the afternoon and i got the whole 205 questions and my state is Louisiana, i am still awaiting results, i tried the PVT also and it took me to the pop up saying that i had already registered, can someone please let me know if this is the "good pop up" or if it says something different? Pray for me pllleeeeaaaasssseee!!!

I took my test on Mar. 1&2. I got special accommodations for a learning disability. Still I am very anxious about not seeing my name on the CA BRN site. Yet I am not able to reregister.

Well, I haven't gotten my results yet but my friend that took hers a day ahead of me did. SHE PASSED! good pop up, and passed...I also got the "good pop up" but like everyone else still nervous untill I see it on the BON.

Ok, so I tested today NCLEX-RN (2nd attempt) in GA and we are able to use the quick results service in two days if we choose to. I looked up my account and it says status delivered. I tried to re-register and got the "results on hold" pop-up. While I know this is not the "good" pop-up, how long do I need to wait to check again before I ck my quick results on monday? Does Pearson Vue update on the weekend? Thanks! God Bless to all!

I took my NCLEX-PN today,,I KNOW that I failed it,,there is no doubt whatsoever in my mind. Well after spending most of the day crying and kicking myself I tried the "trick" it won't let me go on to the payment page it gives me the "good" pop-up, but like I said I know that I failed. I will let you guys know when I do my quick results in 48 hours. Of course I will keep trying the trick until then.

Hi fellow worriers!!

Omg, I have been reading this for hours, and I hope it's not giving me false hope! I took my Nclex-RN yesterday, at 11am and finished at 12:40, after 75 terrible questions! I don't even know how I could have studied for this appropriately! (I did Kaplan, NCLEX 3500 & 4000, and Saunders questions.)

I truly did not know 90% of what was on there, and feel very inadequate, although I was a pretty good student at school:saint: What a tricky test this is:hlk:

I, too, have done the trick, and am wondering if anyone knows if this takes effect right away on a Friday? I am just concerned, as I'd have to wait until Tues(I think, because they say 48 business hours p the exam), to access the quick results, and I wonder if they update this stuff right away on weekends. Also, does anyone know if the quick results really do include, or exclude weekends?

is it true that it will take a week for your name to be posted at the brn.ca.gov?? my friends told me that they saw their names 48 hours after they took nclex. i took the test 3 days ago (03.03.10). i tried the pvt several times and got the 'good pop up' everytime but my name is not yet posted at brn ca site.

@ Trisha: I also took the exam March 3, 2010. I got the good popup and until now my name still didn't appear in the CA BON website. I'm kinda nervous bec. I'm thinking that Pearsonvue already updated their system that all test takers will get the same pop up regardless if they pass or fail.... :s

I have a friend who recently took the test almost two weeks ago and said that she got the credit card go ahead and then quick results showed she didnt pass. So as far as I know it worked two weeks ago, so I am hoping it works now. Still no update on my results. Still getting the "hold" popup. maybe it will be diff in the am.

I have been reading everyone's posts. As far as I can tell, it still works. My friend told me about it a few days before I took it. I got on here and did some research. She said it worked for her and she passed! I took it Friday March 5th at 0800. It cut off at 75. The questions were hard and I was hoping it would shut off at 75 and it did. I cannot get through to re-register (to the credit card part) so I am hoping I passed. My girlfriend said it was the same pop up she got so hopefully it will work for me. I don't know if I will find out tomorrow or Monday from my Board, but when I do, I will let you all know!!

Good luck to everyone and just know that everyone that posts on here has been or IS in the same position you are in. It really helps the nerves to know you aren't the only one going crazy checking your results every 5 minutes!! My husband thinks I am crazy--but I know ya'll understand!!! I have checked the PVT several times since I tested yesterday (3/5/2010) and continue to get the same "good pop-up"...I am so excited to see the FINAL results!!! I think our school should provide "Post Tramatic Stress" relief once we're out and have taken the NCLEX! LOL! :monkeydance: Taking this exam on a Friday is so difficult due to waiting through the weekend to see quick results option. I promise to post my results so stay tuned....God give us peace and a sound mind!
