Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

STEP 11 Click The Button.
STEP 12 Select Your Country.
STEP 13 Click The Button.
STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.
STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 21 Click The Button.
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Most people who take it Saturday in California(well in central valley)find out on Wednesday on the BRN site. But, yeah..my other friend who took 200+ questions had to wait a couple weeks too to get it confirmed. And, he passed! So, it honestly varies! I took it Saturday too and have been bascially crying the last two days. I was there for almost 6 hours, taking all the questions, so I am 99% positive i failed. I checked the pearson vue trick ..12 hrs later..it said successfully delivered..and i got a pop up blocking me to re-register..and today i got a pop up too. It helped my anxiety a bit, but I'm still scared about typing in my name for verifiaction on the BRN site. So, maybe I'll be the first person to say the trick doesn't work. I'm so disappointed bc I studied so hard, did kaplan was getting 65above on the last two question trainers, so I'm just so hurt..it's hard to keep busy..and sleep well
To WishingbeanRN:If the trick worked, I would hold on to that I hope! Believe me, I took the test on Thursday and I am still waiting!!! I can't take it, but no one comes out of this test feeling good...if you read some of the other posts you might feel a little more confident. It has really been helping to keep me from going completely insane. Try to get some rest, don't be too sad until you know for sure, have faith!
THanks! You too. Doing the trick has definitely made me sane for now..and reading everyone's posts have helped tremendously. Hopefully, you'll find out tomorrow on the BRN site. My friend took it a Thursday and she found out Tuesday. So, it seems to be mainly 2 working days, but there will always be those exceptions. I think the hardest part is telling your loved ones that you failed so that's what's hardest for me. If i have to take it again, I'm not telling anyone..except my fiance...it's already enough pressure and stress.
I totally understand! But ya know, it's not the end of the world if you didn't pass and it doesn't mean anything except you missed it by a few questions. I mean you have a 50/50 chance. I did Kaplan too and I went into seclusion for almost 3 weeks to study, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to know everything. I really don't want to have to go through it again, but if I do then I will. If you don't pass, just tell people you rescheduled it because you didn't feel you were ready and if you do pass tell them you were just kidding:)
This trick works..trust me!!! I took the test Saturday morning at 8 am..came home and tried the trick at noon..it said delivery successful. I got the pop up saying that I had already scheduled and that I couldn't register....it helped relieve some anxiety but I was still nervous since I got all 265 questions! But I was able to check the quick results this morning and guess what...I PASSED!!!!!!!
First, I would say that the waiting is so terrible. I took my test on sat. and got 256q's. I honestly thought I failed. I started looking into how much it will cost to retake the test. I went on pearson and did the trick. I got the same pop up and nothing else. I waited and still felt stressed out, but then I looked on the quick result and sure enough I passed.....
That little trick worked,I was still nervous but it gave me something to do until I saw my name in lights!!! Found out I passed today!!!!!IM A RN BABY!!! After failing twice before and being out of school since 2007.one of the biggest test of my life is over.
After running out of time on the two test before now.I checked the trick when I got home that same day. I kept getting the "contact your board"message over the weekend.I had really thought i had failed as well since I just knew I had missed so many, but I will say that looking over infection control really helped because it seemed to be the majority of my test. THANK YOU THANK YOU JESUS.I AM DONE.3rd time was my charm.NOW IT IS OFF TO THE NEXT STEP .....more school( i want my masters)
hey guys, i just love this thread, idk why, i just do. although im NOWHERE near taking the NCLEX, start school in aug. i wanted to ask the people on this board a question. I know that the minimum is 75 questions, and the max 265 right? I want to know why is it that some people's tests shut off at 75, and they fail, why wouldn't it keep going up to possibly 265, so they can get a chance to pass. Does my question make sense. Or, is it that somebody has 75 questions, and they have failed the majority of them, and there is no way to pass even if they go all the way to 265. I hope I'm making sense.
The NCLEX exam is a very complex exam. When the test arrives as 75 questions, that is the first time that the exam can determine if you are competent or not. So you can pass or fail at 75 questions, it all depends on where the questions are on the line of minimum competency..if the questions are below (easy, knowledge based questions), & your exam shuts off at 75 questions, you most likely did really bad and failed...but if the questions are above (analyzation, SATA, and application questions), and it stops at 75, you most likely passed! If your exam goes beyond 75 questions, at that point the computer can not determine with 95% accuracy that you are competent or not..you are most likely right at the line or possibly going below in some points. So you can take 75,82,148, or 265 questions and pass or fail. All people that take the exam only get 50% of the questions correct, it just all depends on where the question lies on the competency line in the test.. Hope this helps!

Hello Everyone,
A friend of mine referred me to this site to help ease my anxiety while I wait for my results. I couldn't get to the credit card page and it definitely gave me some hope, however I still can't get stand this WAITING!!! I am in CA and am just curious if it takes 3 business days before you can find your name on the BRN or if Saturday counts since people can take there tests on this day. If anyone knows, I would love some input. Thanks:
