Pearsonvue Trick - Does it Work Every Time? Part 3

1. Go to NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
2. Select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3. Click 'register' on the right side.
4. Click the 'credit card' link.
5. Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6. Enter your username.
7. Enter your password.
8. Click the button.
9. Click 'register' on the left side.
10. Select your test type.
11. Click the button.
12. Select your country.
13. Click the button.
14. Answer the yes/no questions.
15. Select your country again.
16. Select your state.
17. Type in your city.
18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19. Select your school.
20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
21. Select your board of nursing.
22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

I mistyped on the date. I took it on 12/7/11, my name was posted three days later this past Sat 12/10/11 just trying to help.

That is the exact pop up I received was "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I passed.

I digress you mistyped the date which had me wondering... im glad it worked for you. Then Ill confirm too i have one more day to wait then if this is true if it worked for you took mine on the 9th...

My guess is that your name will be up on the BRN website tomorrow. Try to relax! Open a nice bottle of wine and take a bubble bath. :)

From what I've read, and there has been a lot of discussion about this on the website, is that the "good pop-up" is either the one that says the candidate has recently passed OR our records indicate.... So on. Just as long as you do not get the credit card page, then this is (supposedly) the "good pop up".

I took my board on December 8 (last Thursday) and got the good pop up... Will update as soon as results are posted

RVT/RN, congratulations to you!! I took mine on 12/8 and I'm still waiting for results although I got the same pop up as you. I'm just wondering, when you checked the BRN for your name, did it say it was updated on 12/10? I keep checking and the last time it says it was updated was 12/9. Thanks in advance

Took mine 12/9... they dont work over weekends... im guessing... so you got until monday and myself tuesday.. hang in there.

Thanks asabater! It says it was updated 12/9 but I checked it late Friday night and my name was not there but it was there when I checked Sat morning. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I think they update on Saturdays because the BRN says that it was last updated 12/9 (yesterday).... I probably sound like a mad man but as we all know the anticipation for the results is the worst!!!

lol you think im bitter... think about the people that wrote your nclex, charge you 200 bucks and make you wait a 2 weeks to get the documents in the mail...
