Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.
Poll to take once you have received your response:
Pearsonvue trick - Poll once you receive your results - nursing for nurses
The original thread (part 1 and 2) are now closed.
I read practically Every page on the first post...For days Till I got my reasults...
well
I PASSED the "trick"DOES work !!!
YESSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I failed the Nclex exam twice and i felt like a failure i felt the pressure of passing this time and couldnt bare the thought of failing yet for the 3rd time i thought at this point im never becoming a nurse but i didnt give up ! and I am officially a nurse , this feels surreal ! i studied my butt off i mean harder than i ever have on anything i went in took the nclex pn exam here in California i was sure as soon as i hit 85 it was going to shut off but i looked back on the screen nope ...then 100 and 200 and 4 hours later it shut off at 206 i was like wow ..i must be confusing the hell out of the state . I
did the "trick" RIGHT AFTER THE EXAM i took it at 8 am and finished around 12 ..i saw "delivery successful" later that afternoon around 6ish so i tried to re register for the exam and i got the infamous message .. i wasnt sure what to thing i was sure i read some questions where i felt like i knew the answer but answered them wrong after i took it ,but at this point there was nothing i could do about it but wait wait and wait
I though it would change so i checked it constantly and kept looking on the Boards to see my name .. the message helped calm me but the fact my name was not appearing on the board made me so nervous I was still a bit skeptical about it until i saw my results.. I read and read about it yet i for some reason still felt like I was going to the be the one person where the trick was wrong . then last night i realized my letter was in .. a day before my 2 weeks since i took the exam .. i was so nervous to open it but finally i did and i couldnt believe the words "HAS PASSED" i was in shock and overwhelmed ...
POINT IS IT WORKED ! IT WORKED !
Adding to this thread that it worked for me too! When I tried to sign up again after taking the test it said "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time". I took the test on a Thursday, and saw my name on the CA nursing board website end of day that Friday, so only took one day for my name to be posted. Here Board of Registered Nursing - Permanent License Verification is where you go to see your name on the CA board website.

I was skeptical, but the PVT is the real thing! Tried the trick an hour and a half after the test...got the good pop (and continued to get it the next day)! 48 hours later - quick results say I PASSED
