Hello!! I am interested to take the CNM in Stony Brook University, because this University is the only one that has an online program. But I just realized that they had suspended they program for a year and are going to reopen this fall although. Does anyone know the reasons why it was suspended and even is there someone who knows this online program? is it enough good? Thank you in advance!

Hello! I am going to apply for a J2 Visa which it will let me work in USA. I just wanted to be sure that I won't have any problem to work as RN. Is there someone who has been in the same situation or know if there is any limitation with this visa? Thank you in advance!

Hi blarn, Although I am not from Canada I've been living there for two years. I moved to USA last August from a small town close to Regina. I can tell you that they need many nurses and the salaries are good.

Thank you! In the university where he is studying there is a possibility to change the Visa...but we are not sure to change it yet...we want first to study other chances, if there are... But what about to find a sponsor? It's currently very difficult? or still I can find employers which can sponsor to me? just in case that I try a H1B visa... Do you know if it's very difficult and even how long may it take? Thank you.

Hi ann_menina, I called and talked to someone from cgfns and I asked if I had to submit again te sam documentation I did when I applied for the cgfns exam. They told me that it was not necessary... That was for months ago. Anyway I would like to ask if someone can give me some guidelines about my situation...I am a little desperate.. I am living in NYS with a F 2 visa.. I have passed the NCLEX RN this month. I've realized that if my husband can change his visa for a J 1 I'll get my J 2 and with it I will be able to work without to find a sponsor... Do you know if this is right? And do you know how long it can take the process? Our mind is to go back to our home once he finishes his studies here, in almost one more year, so just I want to get a working visa for a short time and in the easiest way.. Thank you

Hi, I am going to take the NCLEX-RN next Wednesday. I am from Spain and I have been a nurse for 11 years. I didn't have to take a test like this in Spain. Once you finish the University you get the license straightaway . I've been studying really hard for the last seven weeks. I used Maryann Hogan book and I am doing more than 100 questions every day from different sources: NCLEX 3500, 4000 and Saunders Comprehensive Review test. My scores are around 70% . I am not sure if that is enough but I cannot improve them at all. But currently, my real concern is about SATA questions. I am having a big problem with those. If in the NCLEX I am going to have many of them, as many people is saying, I don't think I'll be able to pass it. For me are very difficult. I cannot answer right SATA questions. I am very discouraged and I don't feel confident for the next Wednesday.. Please if you can give me some tips I really appreciate..
