Hi! I just took NCLEX-PN last Friday 02/06 and it stop at 85 question and I just want to find out if anyone out there who tried the "pearson vue web trick" wherein you can find out if you pass or fail ASAP instead of waiting for 3-4 weeks for the mail to come...i tried it myself and i guess i failed since it allowed me to enter my credit card#...anybody got the same situation but actually pass when they got the results by mail> pls. let me know... i feel like throwing up and I couldnt even take care of my baby right now since i am convinced that i really failed!!!
i hope it truely works and if it does i hope some people who are upset dont go and report to pearson vue or state board and then make them stop it.its just the only straw some of of can hold on to during this excrutiating wait.and come to think of it,i dont think susanne4 will come out and say that this thing maybe working cos it would be unethical for her to say so or encourage it in any way.
why would someone want to report this to the board? Its not a bad thing. If it is true it can help us that have failed to know that we should study and we can take our boards asap on the 45 day mark, and if we passed- well then we can just relax and not worry about this test anymore. It helps those that have passed and those that have failed just as much. 2brichielpn08 I don't understand why you can't look at it or see it this way. It's not a bad thing, you have to just be open minded. We all have problems and we all have situations in our lives that make this test very detramental to our families and finacial situations and living situtations, and alot of us see this as being a good thing to help us. Were not going around calling the board and pearsonvue and getting mad at them. If we failed the nclex the only person we can blame is ourselves, not anyone else. No one is perfect and Im sure all of us have failed a test or 2 in our lives, and that just makes it feel so much better when we pass. As a nurse were going to be in a lot of situations and around a lot of people that we agree with or disagree with, and sometimes were just going to have to let things go.
I agree!!!!! with the previous posters.I did the "trick" as well, it didnt allow me to pay either but in no way did I relied on this "trick" to determine if I passed or not. I tried this for my insanity, I didnt care if it was true or not. Well It didnt make me pay for the exam and and I found out that I PASSED.
It may or may not have any truth to this whole "trick". Who cares? if it can help relieve some anxiety while you wait for results then why not try it. I feel that if you know that trying this "trick" will freak you out if it takes you to the payment page, dont try it just wait for your results. Just my 2 cents.
I am in anxious agony waiting for my results so I tried the "trick" for NCLEX-RN and I got a pop up box stating I have already registered for this test and may no register again. So IF the trick has any meaning, that would mean it's likely I passed...which is a teeny bit off of my anxiety level. Maybe I will be able to sleep tonight after all but I won't bank on it until I see the words PASS.

That's right! Until you see that when you register again and it says pass or fail I would not bank on it..This is what the person at Pearsonvue told me when i called them...and maybe I will call the Board since people still believed on the trick...and ask them if the trick is true...When you try the trick and it wont let you register again..does it really makes you feel better or it makes it worst because it really doesn't tell you if you pass or fail? You still have to wait darling for your mail to come and still the Board has the say on it...I don't care if this trick does satisfy you in any means..it doesn't satisfy me...sorry...say whatever you want to say...Good luck to you all that patiently waiting for the mail to come...
It worked for me, I did fail.
Took the NCLEX-RN in NYS on Tuesday and tried this "trick" as soon as I got home, yesterday, and today. I answered the questions as I did before (Have you taken the exam before etc.) and it allowed me to continue to the payment section. FWIW, I got 76 questions, 3 SATA, lots of priority, about 5 meds, and I got the last question right.

I really dont feel that anyone is really satisfied until they get the actual results. When I did the "trick" not once did I say yessss I passed. I was more like maybe I did pass, and I didnt go into depression mode for two days like the last time.
This just helps with a little anxiety.
It probably would satisfy you if you saw something different on the screen, just my opinion.
2brichielpn08 did you ever get your results by now, since you took it feb 11th? did the trick have any truth to you? did you fail?
dont worry honey i'll let you know..but for the mean time i am trying to email this person from the board
if ever i fail is there some truth on this trick at pearsonvue...so at least they know and we dont have to wait 3-4 weeks for the result because if the trick is true..then they are the one who has the right to say something...and i will believe them..( the board )

i'm starting to beleive that this trick does in fact work, my friend just took her nclex-rn and out of curiosity i tried this so call trick, it went to the very end when you try to register to take the exam again. come to find out she failed. the funny thing is when i try to registered for the nclex-pn during the same period it didnt go pass the first screen to order the exam. she's already a LPN. so i truly beleive that is does work
