Pearson Vue Trick was WRONG

What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing their experiences with the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) after taking the NCLEX exam. Some users report getting a "bad pop-up" and feeling anxious, while others caution against relying on the PVT for accurate results. Despite receiving the "bad pop-up," some users later find out they passed the exam through official channels, leading to mixed opinions on the accuracy of the PVT.

Hi everyone, I felt I had to post this!! I took my NCLEX on Tuesday and left feeling super down, I literally felt confident about maybe 20 questions. I cried A LOT and was pretty sure I failed. I did the Pearson Vue trick no less than 1000 times and got the "bad pop up" every time. I read post after post about how the trick is supposedly 99.9% accurate which made me even more depressed. I was already looking into which cities I could travel to to attend an in-person NCLEX review!

Checked my state's BON website this morning and low and behold my name popped up under RN license verification! So the Pearson Vue trick was wrong! I followed all of the specific instructions and never once got the good pop up.

If the trick works for you and you get a good pop up CONGRATS! I don't think I've ever read about anyone getting a false positive so the good pop seems to be pretty accurate. If you get the bad pop up though don't worry, the trick is not guaranteed. Pearson Vue should honestly look into the little trick because it just adds to everyone's anxiety and is really just a weird site error that should not be used to check NCLEX results.

Good luck y'all and feel free to ask me anything!

Me to ... I'm waiting for my NCLEX results in California. I was wondering if anyone has had a false positive with the pearson vue trick, meaning they received the good pop up and but actually failed the NCLEX? I received the emailed indicating I completed the examination and waited 24-48 hrs after the NCLEX exam before trying the trick and got the "good pop up" but it has been 3 days now and I still do not see my license information. My friends got their results in california within 24-48 hrs.

@GlitterPrincess

Thanks for the advice! How long did it take for you to receive the results?

Hi, guys! What does this means? I’ve done my Nclex yesterday and so nervous now! Is it the good pop-up?

Yes you passed!!!!

Waiting the quick result. Afraid of a false positive. Is it accurate?

Thank you @rozy9494

Did they make you pay?

Or did you never get to that point

I never paid, I was able to check my state's BON website before the quick results even came out ?

Completely agree. This is why when I take my test on July 10th, I don't plan on doing the PVT trick. Our BON came to our nursing school and straight up told us that its not accurate. I think I can wait two days for my results (but really one day because everyone that has taken it so far in my class states that they got their results back the next day from the BON).

Lol yes, I would totally skip doing the PVT trick. Good luck on your test!

I have had severe anxiety about my test. I took it today and have done the PVT 3x since leaving. Each time getting the "bad pop-up". I have read forums about waiting 24 hours and then trying PVT, but it's so disappointing. I should have never done it.

I know it's hard, but stop doing the PVT trick. It's not the official results so you still have a chance of passing. I know what you're going through at this very moment because I took my test today too, but I refuse to do the PVT trick because I don't trust it.

Thank you for this... I took the NCLEX today and have been getting the “bad pop up” and I am truly stressed! Reading this makes me feel better
