Pearson Vue Trick was WRONG

What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing their experiences with the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) after taking the NCLEX exam. Some users report getting a "bad pop-up" and feeling anxious, while others caution against relying on the PVT for accurate results. Despite receiving the "bad pop-up," some users later find out they passed the exam through official channels, leading to mixed opinions on the accuracy of the PVT.

Hi everyone, I felt I had to post this!! I took my NCLEX on Tuesday and left feeling super down, I literally felt confident about maybe 20 questions. I cried A LOT and was pretty sure I failed. I did the Pearson Vue trick no less than 1000 times and got the "bad pop up" every time. I read post after post about how the trick is supposedly 99.9% accurate which made me even more depressed. I was already looking into which cities I could travel to to attend an in-person NCLEX review!

Checked my state's BON website this morning and low and behold my name popped up under RN license verification! So the Pearson Vue trick was wrong! I followed all of the specific instructions and never once got the good pop up.

If the trick works for you and you get a good pop up CONGRATS! I don't think I've ever read about anyone getting a false positive so the good pop seems to be pretty accurate. If you get the bad pop up though don't worry, the trick is not guaranteed. Pearson Vue should honestly look into the little trick because it just adds to everyone's anxiety and is really just a weird site error that should not be used to check NCLEX results.

Good luck y'all and feel free to ask me anything!

I’m having a bit of a dilemma right now lol. So at first I tried to reregister and I put in my credit card info correct except for the exp date. I clicked submit and it said invalid exp date. I immediately freaked the heck out. I tried to reregister again but this time I put in the wrong CVV code and then I got the good pop up! Has this happened to anyone else? I’m so nervous ? for reference my exam shut off at 75 and I had a ton of SATA. Got green lighted from ati and a very high chance of passing with Uworld.
Thanks!

If you got the good pop up at some point after putting in credit card information then it's likely that you passed, I really haven't seen anyone talking about false positives, only false negatives. Try not to be nervous and don't try the trick anymore!! Wait for the unofficial/official results and relax. Try to be positive and confident, you seemed to have been more than prepared, fingers crossed for you! ?

That's awesome, congratulations!! ?

Hi there, I just took my NCLEX-RN and been waiting for my results, but I've been so anxious I decided to do the PV trick and got the "bad pop-up" but after reading this post I feel like I have some hope! I'm not sure if maybe I haven't received my results because of the holiday weekend, but still keeping my faith in God that I passed please keep me in your prayers thank you!

This is why I didn't do the trick.

Hi when you received the “bad pop up” was it after getting all the way to the third step and submitting your CC info (with wrong expiration date)

You have to submit cc info THEN hit submit. Then and only then you will know if the PVT works.

Hello! New to this!

How did you input the cc info for the PVT trick ?

I've put the wrong cvv and exp ?

I'm hoping my case is like yours? I'm definitely freaking out right now I tested this morning

When you tried the trick over and over again , were you actually putting in your credit card info and hitting submit payment? I’ve heard that’s the only way it works. If it lets the payment go through and says to wait for an ATI number then that’s the “bad pop up”. If you haven’t done all the steps then the trick isn’t accurate. I took my test today , so I’m just trying to figure out if there is actually a flaw in this trick thing. Allegedly if you don’t hit submit payment then you haven’t done all the steps to the trick.

I just took my NCLEX and it cut off at 85 questions. I got the bad pop up.
