pearson vue trick

I just took my NCLEX on Oct. 22nd. The computer cut me off at 80 questions and I was sure I failed!! I was in tears! There was ALOT of SATA and medications I'd never heard of.

So when I got home I started doing the PVT and got the same response as Butch, " The candidate recently passed this examination. A new registration cannot be made." PLEASE let this be true!! I've been checking it all weekend and getting the same response. And I've clicked every button on there in every combination and still get the same thing

Congratulations! You passed indeed! I have met more than 100 NCLEX takers who graduated from my nursing school who got that same good pop out "that a candidate passed" and they passed 2 days later. So believe that the PVT works! You should prepare to make a good resume now!

I take my exam Monday how long do I have to wait to try the Pearson trick? (hours, right after?)

Hi kdnicholer21,

I took NCLEX on Saturday and it took several hours, but everyone is different. My status showed pending, then the site was down from 5-10, but I logged on at 10:01pm and it showed status delivered, I then tried to re register and got the good pop up :) I hope this helps and best of luck to you on Monday!

Mine took ten hours from when I finished the exam. However, I finished the exam in less than 90 minutes. I wondered if they process all the candidates at once -- meaning it was really four hours from the maximum allotted time.

HI, Can someone help me, few questions, I dont know what pop up means. I took the test 2 days ago paid the $7.95 to pearsonvue and records show I pass. I hope its corrrect! Also does anyone know how long before official license, how will it take?

The pop up? Log into Pearson vue. Look at your account make sure it says "delivery successful" then go in and try to register again. If you passed a pop up will come up that says this candidate has already passed the exam, another registration cannot be made. I hope this helps:-)

10 hrs seem so long. In in Virginia and we can call a number in 24hrs to check on it so that is what I will do. I was sort of under the impression that the trick worked right away. Silly me:)

I am freaking out, I took my NCLEX yesterday for PN and the computer shut off at 85. Not sure how to feel because it felt easy even though I wasn't sure if I was prepared or not. I studied Saunders, NCSBN, Pearson's, ATI and Kaplan for about 6 weeks. I've been trying the PVT since last night and I get the same popup saying "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time." I am so afraid now because I felt so confident yesterday and it's been almost 24 hours now. Has this happened to anyone else? HELP!!!

Hello, im sooo freaking out like everyone else..I took the nclex pn today at 8:00am...and I tried the trick everyone has mentioned, and it wont let me register again...I am soooo nervous and wondering if this trick really works? how soon after testing does the trick apply? and if you have passed, how soon will you see a lisence number after your name??? my life feels like its on hold, ive worked so hard to get here(like im sure all of us nurses have) and just want to know. thanx
